Party Time

Who: Everyone who wants to attend.
What: It's a party for all, but the pairing up part is for singles only.
When: Day 19 of Fiddlesticks
Where: Gym Carriage
Warnings: Who knows atm just Minako being Minako will add more as things happen.

[Minako figured she did the best she could for the party. Though she also wondered if perhaps she might not have that many people come. Sure she wanted to put singles together, but at the same time, she simply wanted people to have fun.

In the dressing carriage, people will find costumes and masks that were more gothic in nature. There was food and hopefully some forms of sweet treats for those looking for it as well as a variety of drink, mostly non-alcoholic.]

Prompto knew Gladio wasn't as comfortable with dancing now that the song had changed. However, he guided the Shield into a laid back, easy sway kind of dance. He didn't need anything more so long as he was still the object of Gladio's attention and in his arms.

"Have you ever really tried? Come and get a couple lessons! You have such a sexy baritone voice. I'm sure it won't take hardly any time for you to learn. It'll be fun and if it doesn't work out then you at least tried something new, right? Glorfindel didn't say we had to be good at singing to join." He made an exaggerated pout. "Pleeeeeaaasseee!"

"I've tried." Gladio replied, amused. Usually when he'd tried it had been by himself though. And sometimes with Iris. Humming, he figured, didn't really count.

But he was weak against Prompto. There was no need for him to pout and beg. Gladio might put up a token resistance, but in the end if it was something his boyfriend was asking for and it was within his power to give, he would do it. "How about I come by and see how it goes?" He offered with a warm smile. "If I like it... maybe I'll join?"

Prompto's pretend pout evaporated in an instant. Practically bouncing with excitement, the blonde boy let out a cheer. "That'd be so awesome! Thanks, Glads! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!"

He wanted to do something to show his thanks besides repeating the words over and over again. "Wait here! I'm going to go ask for more ballads!" He dashed off toward whoever was playing the music. If he could, he was going to get ballad songs for the rest of the night!

He hadn't said yes yet! But he probably would, given how excited Prompto was. He didn't have much time to say anything else before his love was off and running, leaving him on his own with people dancing all around him.

A little embarrassed, he stepped to the side to wait for Prompto's return.

Gladio didn't have to wait log. Prompto told the person in charge that he was totally in love and needed more slow songs! How could the DJ say no?

Racing back, he practically leaped back into his boyfriend's arms. "She said yes! After this song will be another slow one, just for us!"

Prompto leapt and Gladio caught him, laughing he wrapped his arms around his love and held him close.

"You went and did that?" His smile was warm and very tender, touched Prompto would go and ask for something like that just so he could have one more dance. Gladio leaned in and stole a quick kiss as his smile widened. It didn't bother him where they were or who would see them. If anyone had a problem with him kissing the man he loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with, they could go to hell. They'd clearly never kissed Prompto to know just how addicting those lips were...

He loved that. It was silly and excessive but who wouldn't like a big hunkalicious man like Gladio catching them? It made him feel like the man would always be there whether he fell or jumped into those massively sexy arms.

He grinned and would've said something but the kiss was too sweet for him to hurry past. He ignored everyone on the dance floor too. Being in Gladio's arms and was way more important. He drew back a little and smirked. "What do you say to one more dance and then we have our own party in our cabin?"

Gladio would definitely be there for Prompto whenever he needed him. He'd always be there to catch him, no matter what.

"I say, I like the way you think, babe." And he truly did. Prompto always had such wonderful ideas. But to dance he would have to let his lover down and that just seemed like a waste. So he just started to move from foot to foot where he was, slowly, with Prompto held in his arms.

It felt good. Everything about this night felt perfect. He had so many fun friends and then there was and hopefully always would be, Gladio. He made this train magic. Before long the train was going to figure out how to give them a car that helped Gladio feel like he was out in the wilderness like home and he was going to have chocobos to ride around on. He didn't know how this was going to happen, but hey, he didn't think they'd get a garden and a movie theater either.

After dancing their own pace through the upbeat song, he was once again treated with slow dancing with his Big Guy. It was just as fun as the first but the best foreplay for what happened afterward in their room. Snuggled up with muscular arms arm him, he was sure they'd found paradise.
