Error 4639

Day Twenty Two starts as any other day onboard the Voidtrecker Express. The morning announcement and then passengers are free to fall back to sleep or get up and start the day. Breakfast is made. However not so long after the wake up call anyone near an ICP point will see it flash bright white.

A moment later there is a message. It shows on the screens for fifteen minutes and indeed anyone trying to use the ICPs for anything else will have trouble as it seems determined to be all that they can access. Then the screen goes white again. Bold text flashes up.

Error code 4639. Program must end.

The screen goes black and stays black. Every ICP on the train is down. That is not all. When passengers try and speak to each other they will learn that whatever it was that allowed them to understand each other has stopped working.

Hopefully that won't cause too much mayhem...

He watched the performative sitting, and raised an eyebrow. For his part, he stayed in a comfortable, neutral stance. "It's hard to miss when all discussion breaks down in a room."

He gave a small shrug. "Perhaps." Generally he was used to all conversation breaking down on a regular basis. Generally when one of the girls was in a stubborn mood or one of the boyos was ****ed off at one of the girls. Or any time chess was played accross gender lines.

The reality now, however, was that he simply had been too focused on his work out to be paying attention.

Glorfindel shook his head. "I had just read something on the ICP about the Void Ministry thinking this is a rogue Train, and that we may be complicit, even though we are not currently aware of it. I suspect it may be related, due to the timing."

As far as Khary sitting on the air, he'd seen stranger things.

"I do hope you find the fact you are still king to be comforting," he said to Gyousou

"I saw that also," he agreed. "I'm sure we will all have a great deal to discuss..."

A pause, as something occurred to him. "... which may be why this is happening now. As for my kingship, I suppose either outcome would have been comforting, in its own way."
