Error 4639

Day Twenty Two starts as any other day onboard the Voidtrecker Express. The morning announcement and then passengers are free to fall back to sleep or get up and start the day. Breakfast is made. However not so long after the wake up call anyone near an ICP point will see it flash bright white.

A moment later there is a message. It shows on the screens for fifteen minutes and indeed anyone trying to use the ICPs for anything else will have trouble as it seems determined to be all that they can access. Then the screen goes white again. Bold text flashes up.

Error code 4639. Program must end.

The screen goes black and stays black. Every ICP on the train is down. That is not all. When passengers try and speak to each other they will learn that whatever it was that allowed them to understand each other has stopped working.

Hopefully that won't cause too much mayhem...

"Tell if they're speaking the same-- Ah, unfortunately not." He considered, and kept a hand on Taiki's shoulder. After all, he had been well in order to speak so. "We could simply ask them, of course. Was that what you had planned?"

"Yeah," Tidus nods. "We help people find someone who can talk the same language as them, and see if we can't do something to help past the time. Or help the people who haven't got anyone to speak with."

How, he isn't sure, but he looks between both of them.

"We can come up with ideas along the way. But getting names and seeing who speaks what's a good place to start, right? We've gotta do something!" he adds earnestly.

He nodded, still feeling embarrassed about his outburst but agreeing with Tidus completely. If they had the means to understand people then they should help those that were struggling to communicate.

"That's a really good idea Tidus."

Gyousou nods agreement, eyes warming with approval. "Together, or would you prefer we split up?"

[blitzcheer]

"Uhh... should we split up?" They could speak to more people that way, but then, decides to ask back, "What do you two want to do? I can write down names and what that person speaks, but I can't do it on my own. You two should decide." He waves a hand idly. "We might come up with more ideas if we stick together."

Either way, Tidus was game.

"Well Tidus can join one of us. That way you will be with someone who understands and can write things down. We could take half the train each and try and speak to each person in those carriages... Um... If that is a good idea."

He looks up at Gyousou.

He considers both. Sticking together seems to be Tidus's preferred choice, and separating... well, not Taiki's preference, but certainly an alternative he is offering.

"Splitting up will be faster. We could find a fourth person, to make up the numbers."

[blitzcheer]

"Sure," Tidus says to that; really having no preference, and even adding to the idea, "if we find anyone else who can speak to everyone too, maybe they'll help us out. We can get more people asking around."

But with that said and the idea of splitting put forward and agreed upon, that leaves the final question, Tidus looking between the two.

"Who should I go with?"

He nodded, it was a good idea. Another who could speak to anyone would be a good idea to help. He's not sure who else can, but he is aware there are others who seem to be having little trouble with the language barrier.

As to how the group is to be split he looks at Lord Gyousou, for his decision.

"Go with Taiki," he decided. "You're both convincing, with complementary aspects. My options for a partner are less limited than his."
