Intro: Into the Void
On the Platform
At first all you can see if steam. Billowing around you as you come to your senses. You are standing, in clothes that are not your own, styles you might not even recognise. You are carrying a rucksack on your back. For a moment it seems to just be you, alone in the white haze but then the steam begins to fade and you realise you aren’t alone.
The platform is not very large, but it hold ten people all facing the tracks, all wearing similar clothing. The tracks stretch left and right into steam, or perhaps fog. Nothing can be seen to either side. There is a wall around the platform and the only entrance is a security gate. It cannot be open, nor do there seem to be any staff.
What there is, is a train. Jet black and gleaming where it stands on the rails. Voidtrecker Express is emblazoned in the engine in gold. There is a hiss as the doors slide open.
Boarding, it seems, is the only option.
The Train
A horn sounds and anyone not on the train will feed the need to board immediately. The train is empty. But it seems ready for you. The stores are full of food, the carriages are all clean. Every screen on the train is showing the same message.
The luggage carriage, strangely, seems full of luggage. Or at least the cases. Suitcases, bags, trunks. All empty. But it at least will make good storage for your own bags once you have unpacked.
Carriages
Just like the message reads, your ticket is required to enter your cabin. The names are written on screens outside each cabin but once you are inside bed choice seems to be up to you. It might mean there is a fight for the top bunk.
Room is right but there are storage cubbies at the head of each bed, beds fold up and the bottom bunks double as benches for the small table. There is storage under those benches and you will find a pillow for each bed as well as extra blankets, in case it gets cold.
Departure
A second horn, to encourage any stragglers to enter and then the doors slide shut. It seems, for good or for ill you are riding this train to… wherever it is going.
"Welcome aboard, passengers of the Voidtrecker Express." A female-coded artificial sounding voice echoes throughout the train. The train begins to move, shuddering along the tracks, fog obscuring the view from the windows.
"Please take the time to read the passenger information displayed on the Information and Communication points and familiarise yourself with the layout and emergency exits."
The train tilts, the movement changes. It seems, as impossible as it might seem to some, that this train is flying.
"Entrance into Voidspace imminent. New passengers are advised to remain seated."
A shudder runs through the train. A lurch to the left, a jolt to right, the feeling of going far too fast and then a flash, bright colours that are almost blinding.
As quick as it happens it is done. The train seems to steady. The fog from the windows is gone now, replaced with a multicoloured ever shifting void.
Your journey has begun.

"No. No, no, no. You can't bother Mr Stark right now, he's resting." He holds a finger up to indicate his point. "And he needs all he can get. Like, not to sound rude or anything, but can't you just deal for now? It's not even that bad. The beds are even kinda comfy." At least, to him. Though he does come from a lower income home so it's possible he wouldn't know the difference. And he very clearly does not recognize the name.

The conductor or the billionaire, whichever she first encounters! Hibiki will demand adjustments be made to the sleeping arrangements, obtain a carriage all to herself, and.....and.....
She turns to make another attempt at leaving. This time, she almost succeeds. Almost.
Then she turns around and points at Peter. Or, rather, Peter’s new polo shirt and hoodie. “And prepare to relinquish that hue!”
no subject
Then he blinks in confusion though and then looks down at his purple hoodie. Really, now the colors?
"Uh... that's gonna be a negative, ghost rider."
no subject
“Say what you will.” Hibiki moves to leave, the picture of dignified outrage. Noble. Piqued. “Well, the conductor is more my priori-“
There is a comical squelching sound. She just stepped in the tea puddle.
Her entire body twitches.

He actually rolls his eyes at such a dramatic reaction to just stepping in a puddle. He also uses the moment to jump down and block the door, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Wow, some people have never been thrown in a dumpster before, and it shows." He doesn't expect her to get the reference. "Look. If you promise to leave Mr Stark alone then I'll let you go pound on the conductor's door until the end of time-but please don't bother Mr Stark. There's isn't really anything he can do about the accommodations anyway."
dw could you please not post my tag prematurely....also, have at her, peter. let’s do this
Meaning, of course, herself. Who goes where she will and always achieves her objective. True, given the circumstances, she’s not sure whether a fellow passenger, no matter how renowned, would be able to assist her - but she’s also in no mood to acquiesce. If she can’t leave the train, she’ll at least gain access to its entirety.
Eager to be freed of such second-guessing, Hibiki tries to brush past the boy in the door, unfazed by this attempt at a barricade. “This discussion is over. I’ll have you withdraw.”
this is how his powers get exposed
"I can't exactly with that one, knowing everything Mr Stark is done-but he's really out of it and if you can't promise not to just let him rest then-I'm really sorry about this." He's gonna regret this. It's gonna come back to bite him in the ass just like the mishap earlier with the lavender death room and pretty much how everything he does in his life tends to do.
But, without another thought beyond 'this is a bad idea' he fires his webs at her, hoping to trap her to the wall directly across.
i don’t know whether to apologize or say “you’re welcome”
Hibiki has just enough time to register that something unthinkable has just occurred, but insufficient time to process that fact, before her back hits the far wall - and stays there. She doesn’t slide down. She can’t slide down. In fact, she can’t do much of anything....
Her head whips around, disoriented. “What the?! What’s the meaning of this?!”
Cue distressed wiggling. This is the exact OPPOSITE of what she had intended to happen! How can that be??
it was bound to happen anyway. he's terrible at secrets
"Look, like I said, you gotta leave Mr Stark alone-and since you seemed to have no intention of listening to me..." He glances at the webbing. Maybe that was a bit extreme. "Anyways-don't worry about it too much-it'll dissolve in like two hours-so you'll just... have to chill here."
orz
And, what’s worse than all of that - it’s stupid!
“HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO “CHILL” IN SUCH A SITUATION?!”
Futilely, Hibiki attempts to draw her sword and free herself. But the problem inherent in drawing a sword from hammerspace is that it requires one’s arm to be free for said drawing. She - she -
She is definitely, positively, absolutely obtaining a sleeper cabin to herself later!
