"It's in the tech--it makes it less like you're choking and you don't feel the water pressure, not like when you're in the ocean. Some people don't even practice out in ocean water. When you're in practice pools, it's almost like you don't need to breathe, ever."

Though you do, and it was smart not to forget about either that or the fact you were surrounded by water, unless you want water in your lungs.
