Who: Peter and You!! (open)
Where: Medical Carriage
When: Grasshopper day 14-15
What: Peter had an Asthma attack. It was awful. He also seems to be a little powerless.
Warnings: idk. will update.
It's been a few hours since the awful asthma attack and Peter finally feels like he can breathe again. He's laying back on the medic cot with his hand over the band aid he'd had the injection in and squinting at the ceiling. This sucks.
He sucks in a breath and lets it out slow. How did he manage to lose his powers? He knew he wasn't doing too well on the battle field and he's been a little extra stressed out but he didn't think he was that bad off. Would he get his powers back? He really, really hopes so because the next mission might kill him. Literally.
That is, of course, assuming Mr Stark doesn't just tie him to the train or something. It was possible. He he hears someone coming into the car and glances up to see who it is and squints because he can't really make out much more than weirdly shaped blobs.

He stepped into the Medbay as he removed his earphones and pocketed them, smiling as if someone had just made a dumb joke. "Are you Peter?"
no subject
"Uh.. yeah? Why?"

"I had a conversation with Tony while he was in here, not long after having a conversation with Nita, while she was in here." He looked almost apologetic. "Tony said to bet that you would be next, if we were to start betting."
He looked back up to Peter. "It would be rude of me not to introduce myself, though. My name is Uta. I arrived on the last platform."

"O-oh. Yeah, nice to meet you." He offers a small smile, pushing his grumpiness to the side. "But for the record-this is the first time I've actually had to come here for-second time-I've have to come here for emergency care.... third time." He corrects himself, still mentally counting. "...Maybe four?" And of course if they'd had the medical car from day one well... the number would be more like eight or nine.
...Wait. Is he the reason the train gave them a medical car in the first place?

"Sounds like you've had a string of bad luck, starting with being brought here. So what landed you in here? Hopefully not concussion via luggage." Nita's situation, while serious, had very much tickled him. While the appropriate response is it was funny in hindsight, it was also pretty funny at the time.

He lets out a small sigh and shrugs because while he's highly, highly alarmed about the fact his powers are offline at the moment, he doesn't really want to show it. "Asthma attack. That's what I get for hanging around the dressing car while Ms Custer's smoking in the luggage car."
ooph sorrry i thought i had responded to this and was waiting
His smile and joking faded when Peter mentioned the smoking being the cause of his issue. He grew quite serious and there was an edge to him that didn't exist before. "Someone caused this? We are all supposed to work together, are we not?"

"Um, yeah. I guess. I can breathe again, so that's uh you know, that's always nice."

"Earlier today at Breakfast with Mr Stark and uh, you know-about as well as normal-which I have pretty chronic insomnia so not awesome but enough, I think."

"Luke used to sometimes use the Force on me to help calm my mind enough so I could sleep but that's the closest I've come to meditation. Otherwise no, that also doesn't really work for me. I'll try the tea though. What's the worst that could happen?"

"Wh-what? Who said anyone did anything to me? I'm fine!" Sorta. All the Childhood Trauma notwithstanding.

"uh.. anyways, you didn't answer, can I go after this? Since my asthma's back under control?"

Once she'd heard that Peter was in the medical carriage, though, she hurried over in worry, looking around until she spotted him in one of the cots.
"Peter?"
no subject
"Oh, uh-Hey Kitty. What's up?" You know, besides him being in the medic bay.
no subject
Still, as she made her way to his cot, her expression still held concern. "What happened? Are you okay?"
no subject
"Just uh... apparently my asthma's back. Who knew?" Of course he's got to down play everything still, he's not even sure why he's doing it. "But they have a rescue inhaler here and apparently magnesium so, I'm okay."

"Y-yeah-I mean uh-well you're enhanced too, right? So, do you also have to eat an insane amount of food to keep your metabolism up? I did not take great care of myself last week at all-I mean I got lost for more than a half day and didn't eat anything then and also the rations back when I was on the purple team weren't great and uh I tend to get like three hours of sleep at night. So uh.. long story short my powers aren't really working like they should be. But I'm sure if I just take a few days to rest I'll be fine."
no subject
"Oh gosh, Peter," she says, unsure of what else to say. She places a hand on his arm, as if needing the reassurance that he's there. "So it's like your powers are...what? Temporarily disabled or something?"
no subject
"Uh, yeah, I guess. I hope it temporary because I kinda need my glasses and that's not... ideal."
no subject
She can't do much about him needing glasses, but if getting his strength up could help maybe get his powers back, then the least she could do was grab some food from the kitchen for him.
