Fight Club Open Log! (Catch-All For the Month of Grasshopper)
This is an OPEN LOG for anyone to join. Make toplevels to your heart's content and tag around to each other freely. Whether your character is offering to teach or wanders in looking for someone to get them involved (or just to watch), this is a post for you! You may use this for any sort of open or even private threads if you so wish.
This log is for anyone who wants to participate in exercising, training, sparring, and teaching lessons. Some of the "classes" also involve things like yoga, meditation, and easier self defense mechanisms for anyone to learn. Magic users are also extremely encouraged to use the practice dummies and other facilities as well! After all, they also need to practice and also get used to having physical fighters near them as they spellcast. And vice versa. Plus, some people use both abilities in battle!
Basically, if you want to learn new skills that could be useful on missions, come take a peek!
Various characters will be around to help answer questions icly if you like (I have 47 on offer for starters) and if you have any ooc questions or comments drop a line over here! An ic announcement was also made by 47 if your character needs an impetus for heading towards the gym. c:
And remember: you do you and have fun!!!

- For a basic set-up consider this: the new training gym has all sorts of useful equipment for physical fitness such as mats, soft hand held pads for training with, training dummies, some balancing beams and even a springboard. There are large blocks for making obstacle courses or creating a unique battlefield, and two climbing apparatus next to the wall. Many people are found here daily training, maintaining physical fitness, and teaching others how to handle combat in one fashion or another. Others come and go more sporadically but all are welcome and everyone (typically) shares everything with relative ease. Many of the usual suspects will help accommodate whoever asks for help. Generally, there is just a lot of activity and a busy but fluid schedule around all the equipment and space provided.

Most of the other voidtreckers seemed...passable, for humans. one of them stood out. The green one.
He wasn't sure what Piccolo was. Maybe some kind of Servant, maybe something else entirely. Who could say, here? What he was sure of was that he was extraordinarily powerful. Interesting.
"Ho there." He said, at a moment when Piccolo was not focusing on any of his students.
no subject
"Can I help you?" he asked in his baritone. He didn't look interested in the other but inwardly he was a little excited, curious about the interesting entity before him.
no subject
Though he towered over Piccolo in simple physical space, he wasn't sure he could beat him, if it came down to an actual fight. It would be interesting to test that, at some point.
Maybe when they had more space.

"I'm not fond of being left behind," he replied. Though he referred to the saiyans back home he didn't bother to explain the meaning exactly. He didn't think it needed unless the conversation went that direction. "I was born into martial arts and it has always remained my one passion. There is nothing that matches the feeling of facing a good opponent in battle."
no subject
He laughed, though it seemed more like he was laughing at himself, rather than at Piccolo. "I wouldn't call it my sole passion in life. If anything, recent times have left me with a rather sedentary life style. I've yet to have a chance to dust off the old armor!"
He patted his chest and a small cloud of dust blew out.
no subject
"So it would seem," he replied. He frowned slightly at the dusty air as he watched it dissipate. Once it was safe he turned back to the armor. "Meditation is one thing... gathering literal dust is another. I couldn't live like that."
no subject
"This armor is a shell, to give me form while in the material world. I spend most of my time in the void, so I rarely need it. It's been a few millennia, in fact. My brothers who spend more time in the material world have seen to it that no one stole it, but beyond that they let it sit."
no subject
"I...see," he replied cautiously. He didn't really but it didn't make much of a difference. What he really got out of that information was: the entity was old, and the entity didn't normally have a solid state. Piccolo had entities from his own world to compare it to but nothing exactly the same that he'd directly run into.
"It could use a dusting." Blink blink stare. Seriously though. But whether metaphorically or literally he left open for interpretation. After all, what was the point in being here if not to get acclimated to moving around again.
no subject
"But, eventually it shall be done, and when it does, and when we have to do so, I would be honored for a chance to test my skill against yours."
no subject
Then he nodded more seriously. "I'm here more often than not. Although if we ever have more free time away from the train then a more true battle could be fought."
no subject
He eyed the walls in question thoughtfully. They looked to be of ordinary metal.
"When we can, then."
no subject
Because even when they had a lot of space reserved for a heavy spar there was always the possibility of a stray blast hitting someone on a train this limited in size. Piccolo abhorred the idea of hurting anyone that didn't properly deserve it. When they did, that was a different story altogether.
