These Are Not The Games You Are Looking For (Closed)
Who: Ash and Renee
Where: Game Car
When: Sometime after departure, Bassoon Day 1
What: Renee teaches Ash about blideo blames
Ash made it a point to check out the new cars once the train had departed, curious as to how the vote turned out and what great gift the train gave them now. She looked about the board games for a deck of cards, eventually finding herself before the video games section. She wasn't entirely sure what she was looking at, but they certainly intrigued her. She stayed her distance a bit so as to not mess anything up, but it was clear she wanted to look it over and figure out what the device was.

She hasn't really had a good chance to look over or into them yet, save for a brief session with Luke Skywalker of all people, so she's already got a rig in her hands, turning it over to look at it and see where the instructions are, before tugging it on to her head.
"Bet I look like a real nerd now!" But she's laughing.

"I'm not sure what one would look like?" Ash mostly just sounded confused.
Ash's ears were up all the way, twitching at the sounds she could hear as she got closer to Renee and looked the rig she was wearing over. "So... How does this virtual reality interface work?"

Which is about what she knows from when she was interacting with the stuff at the Institute as well.
"No, I mean I know there are games on here, I played some with Luke a couple days ago." Not that Ash would have a reaction to his name like Renee did.

Ash definitely didn't have the reaction that Renee had, but she did look back to Renee. "What kinds of games are there, do you recall?" This was definitely Ash trying to see if all of this was worth the trouble of figuring out.

"Uh. Crisis escape sort of game, a four-player adventure, a racing game where you're supposed to beat your friends...there's another one to make four, but I don't remember that one." Probably because it hadn't interested her nearly as much as the other three.

She pulled the headset on as Renee explained what games there were, adjusting the straps. Once it powered on Ash was frantic for a moment as she looked around and did perhaps the safest thing she could do: drop to one knee. Logically she understood what was happening, but it still was unnerving to not being seeing what she expected, and the movement was every so slightly not quite real.
"That's... different." There was a bit of vertigo. "How do you do this without falling over?"

"I'm pretty open to playing whatever, though. Probably will be terrible at the flying game, but if that's what interests you..."
Renee shrugged. Then again, this was not the Danger Room and the VR here was going to take some getting used to...
