OTA with Closed Prompt - Ninja Mime 3

Who: Cassie + Anybody, with closed prompt for Trunks
Where: Cinema Car
When: Horseshoe, Day Four-ish
What: A screening of Ninja Mime 3: Mime in Time

There's less fanfare for this screening than there was for the last one Cassie hosted. She's looking for a somewhat more intimate affair, and she figures the sequel won't draw as much as the first one anyway.

Before she gets there, though, she'll be lingering outside her own cabin, waiting for a certain lavender-haired someone who is particularly invited to pass by.

"Yup," Cassie says. "Normally, I'd say you'd need to watch the first two to stay caught up, but really...the title speaks for itself, doesn't it?"

[herolegs]

"Right? What more do you need to know?" Chie laughs. "I'd like to see them all, of course, but series where you can just jump in anywhere are fun too."

[nutkrusher]

"Pro tip, skip the fourth one," Cassie says. "Even Dad disowns that one."

[herolegs]

Chie nods very seriously, as if committing this vital information to memory. "Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Wait, you mean -- is that your dad acting in this? Oh, how cool!"

[nutkrusher]

"It is," Cassie says. "Johnny Cage. I'm Cassie."

She extends a hand in greeting.

[herolegs]

"Pleased to meet you! I'm Chie Satonaka." She takes Cassie's hand in a firm grip (for a girl who mostly trains/fights with her legs, it's still not too shabby).

"So, do you do this a lot? Share your dad's movies with the train?"

[nutkrusher]

Cassie is, indeed, reasonably impressed with the firmness of Chie's handshake.

"I've done it once before," she says. "I'd want to branch out to other ones, but the train's film library seems to be missing some of my favorites. They've got all of Dad's, though. Go figure."

[herolegs]

"Oh, right! I didn't even think of that!" Chie nods thoughtfully, crossing her arms. "It's not like I had all my DVDs tucked in a pocket when I showed up. Can you, like... order more somehow?"

[nutkrusher]

"It's worth a shot," Cassie says. "But it really hasn't been quantity that's the problem. Not like with the library. There just seem to be weird gaps - a lot of the movies are ones that I'm not sure even exist in my universe."
