OTA with Closed Prompt - Ninja Mime 3

Who: Cassie + Anybody, with closed prompt for Trunks
Where: Cinema Car
When: Horseshoe, Day Four-ish
What: A screening of Ninja Mime 3: Mime in Time

There's less fanfare for this screening than there was for the last one Cassie hosted. She's looking for a somewhat more intimate affair, and she figures the sequel won't draw as much as the first one anyway.

Before she gets there, though, she'll be lingering outside her own cabin, waiting for a certain lavender-haired someone who is particularly invited to pass by.

"Yup," Cassie says. "Starring my dad, even."

"Your dad was an actor?" Senku asked, curious enough to, but not sure what to do with that kind of information.

[nutkrusher]

"Actor, martial artist, world-saving hero," Cassie says. "He has worn many hats. In this movie it's a beret."

[10billionpercent]

He let out an amused huff at the joke. "Impressive resume. What kind of world-saving did he do?"

[nutkrusher]

"Stopped a demonic invasion," Cassie says. "'Course, then some other people fucked things up, let the hellgod out of his amulet, and I had to finish the job twenty-three years later."

[10billionpercent]

"A demonic invasion? That's a new one." Senku had asked a lot of people about their worlds, but he hadn't heard that one before.

"Sounds like an action movie in itself."

[nutkrusher]

"He actually made one out of one of his earlier, uh...battles," Cassie says. "They changed a couple things."

And didn't release the second one. It hadn't seemed appropriate.

"Clearly he must be some kind of combatant." Senku commented, sorting him in his mind.

"I guess that can be a kind of inspiration for movies. I never really got the whole movie making process, or the whole watching thing.." He was trying though.

"Something like that, yeah," Cassie says.

Spelled a little differently, for one.

"But really, Dad's mostly good at punching stuff. So that's what his movies tend to be about."

"Huh. Sounds like the kind of thing my dad would've liked." Senku responded. "He liked anything fun."

[nutkrusher]

"Big action movie fan?" Cassie says. "Gotta admit, I'm the same way. I'll watch any old garbage with kung-fu in it."

"Yeah, pretty much. He liked that kind of thing. Wasn't really my thing, but honestly, the train is really boring." Senku admitted with a bit of a smile.

"Honestly, I'd have gone stir crazy by now if it weren't for the gym car," Cassie says.

[10billionpercent]

"I wish that's how I felt about the library, but unlike the gym car it's pretty empty." Senku snorted lightly at that.

"I don't do...gym stuff."

[nutkrusher]

"Well, I am the Purple Team quartermaster," Cassie says. "I'll see what I can do about alleviating that problem."

[10billionpercent]

"It would be my second priority after medicine, I think, as far as things go. Limited points though." He hummed, he was fairly new-ish, that was why.

"At least I believe we got a lot more medicine now."

[nutkrusher]

"We sure do," Cassie says. "A big effort on the part of everyone here. I think we can get a trickle of quality-of-life things coming in once we feel secure with the essentials."

"Yes, it's good people were willing to band together, it was something that I found personally concerning." Senku admitted. "But that's because I'm used to thinking about it."

[nutkrusher]

"Whoever brought us here won't do it," Cassie says. "That leaves it to us. Lucky for them we're awesome."

[10billionpercent]

"Yeah. I'm not surprised. No matter the situation, people have a pesky way of surviving no matter the obstacles." Senku truly believed that, he believed in people.

[nutkrusher]

Cassie nods. "Yup."

She extends a hand.

"My name's Cassie."

[10billionpercent]

He offered a small smile and shook her hand. "Senku." He probably should've introduced himself, but he had a way of forgetting social things like that.

[nutkrusher]

"Glad you could come, Senku," she says. "Enjoy the movie."

[10billionpercent]

"Yeah, you too." He said, raising a hand in a bit of a wave as he went to find himself a seat to watch.
