Hey guys, forget about that public breakdown the other day. Today Inigo is on the ICP with a big smile, seeming as cheerful as ever. It's fine. It's cool.
"Good day, everyone! Tidus and I brought some things back with us from Irivar to share with everyone. So why not come over to the standard coach and see if there's anything you'd like to take with you, hm? We have quite the selection! Oh, and.. erm, Taiki, Roland, Bryn and Della.. If you could make sure to come see us, we'd appreciate it! Otherwise I might have to send Ti--"
Before Inigo can even finish the sentence, there's an offscreen obviously very Tidus-y voice calling out, "Inigo! Ask for Sakura too!"
Inigo huffs, turning his gaze to the off screen source. "I was getting to that!" (No he wasn't.) Apparently he accidentally pulled his ticket off the ICP as he starts moving away from it too, because the feed just cuts out. Just come get some sweet stuff.

Their set-up in the standard car is a simple, if messy, one. They have a few of their offered freebies on the same table they occupy, each guy facing the other, sat by the wall. From the immediate front, fragrant bags sit no bigger than a palm, a variety of scents better to tell when held to the nose. Whetstones sit stacked mostly on top of one another, and then a cluster of hair ribbons and circular hair ties behind them. Behind the bags are a few scent oils--basically, perfumes, if not very big. There's a few to choose from, but...
...not as many as there are the soaps, which take up a half of the table in their choice. It's like a lush shop here of choice, different colours and sizes.
And Inigo and Tidus? Sit there, either playing cards or fiddling through the paper craft book available from the art supplies where the old library used to be.
A chalkboard sits balanced, with the words 'FREE 2 TAKE' written in big letters. In case you missed the public announcement.

"It's fine. We can always hug sometime later." You know, when they're a bit closer. Not that he minds hugging strangers, but the real good part about hugs is when you do it with someone you at the very least have warm fuzzy friendship feelings for, right?
"I'm Inigo, and I.. do..? I guess?" He shoots a questioning look Tidus's way. Is this some modern thing he doesn't understand? Please help translate, if you're over the whole hug thing? "Is it that hard to remember? It's quite a short name!"

As for the actual point of the conversation. "Eh, it's fine," he said with regards to both of their desires to put off hugs for now. "I prefer hugging my friends to people I just met too, so it can wait. And honestly I was mostly messing with you guys a bit anyway, since I definitely seem to have stumbled into the middle of something. Not that I wouldn't have gone along with it if one of you had wanted a hug for real, mind you. But I'm kinda curious as to how this got started now."

Thankfully that's solved rather neatly by Lea saying he'd prefer to wait. See, he's fine!
"Tidus has been asking that to pretty much everyone who's been passing by."
That's apparently all the explanation Inigo provides. Getting into the details is much too embarrassing - not to mention it'll probably make him feel like the weirdo here for liking to hug all over again. He's not burning his hand on that stove, thanks.

"It usually is better to ask first though, if you're not reasonably sure whether a person likes it or not, especially here on the train. It's easy to step on people's toes- metaphorically and literally- in such tight quarters, so asking is just a good way of avoiding doing that without meaning to."

In Tidus's arms, apparently. Because he listens to what Lea is saying, still looking a bit sulky about the whole thing. And despite the fact he turned down the idea of hugging Lea right away only a few moments ago, Inigo instantly looks over at Tidus the moment Lea stops speaking.
"Tidus."
He sounds so serious.
"Can I hug you." CAN HE, BRO? Look, he's asking! Like Lea told him to! He's being good!
