Hey guys, forget about that public breakdown the other day. Today Inigo is on the ICP with a big smile, seeming as cheerful as ever. It's fine. It's cool.

"Good day, everyone! Tidus and I brought some things back with us from Irivar to share with everyone. So why not come over to the standard coach and see if there's anything you'd like to take with you, hm? We have quite the selection! Oh, and.. erm, Taiki, Roland, Bryn and Della.. If you could make sure to come see us, we'd appreciate it! Otherwise I might have to send Ti--"

Before Inigo can even finish the sentence, there's an offscreen obviously very Tidus-y voice calling out, "Inigo! Ask for Sakura too!"

Inigo huffs, turning his gaze to the off screen source. "I was getting to that!" (No he wasn't.) Apparently he accidentally pulled his ticket off the ICP as he starts moving away from it too, because the feed just cuts out. Just come get some sweet stuff.

Their set-up in the standard car is a simple, if messy, one. They have a few of their offered freebies on the same table they occupy, each guy facing the other, sat by the wall. From the immediate front, fragrant bags sit no bigger than a palm, a variety of scents better to tell when held to the nose. Whetstones sit stacked mostly on top of one another, and then a cluster of hair ribbons and circular hair ties behind them. Behind the bags are a few scent oils--basically, perfumes, if not very big. There's a few to choose from, but...

...not as many as there are the soaps, which take up a half of the table in their choice. It's like a lush shop here of choice, different colours and sizes.

And Inigo and Tidus? Sit there, either playing cards or fiddling through the paper craft book available from the art supplies where the old library used to be.

A chalkboard sits balanced, with the words 'FREE 2 TAKE' written in big letters. In case you missed the public announcement.

"Wow Taiki, Inigo's coming for your job. I think he's right!"

A light teasing, hopefully one that Taiki wouldn't mind. Would he be defensive suddenly, in the way he can get in regards to Saku? Tidus almost wants to make a suggestion, but at the same time, looking back at the blankets.

"I think you should choose what calls out to you. So it can be a gift from us all that way. Yeah - I like that."

He blinks for a moment but then doesn't seem to mind the light teasing, smiling nervously again. Inigo was perhaps right. Lord Gyousou wouldn't mind whichever he chose, he was a very practical person and he would be more impressed by the weight and warmth of the blanket, rather than how it looked.

He looked at them again before reaching out to one in orange and gold. "I think this one."

He looked at them both, to see if they approved.

"Oh, it's pretty."

Inigo apparently approves, judging by that smile on his face. But let's be real, Inigo is so soft for Taiki that he would have said the very same thing no matter what the other had chosen. Anything Taiki does it is great.

"I think that would be great for it him too!" It's kind of.. fire-y, right? That does suit Gyousou in Inigo's mind, especially since it matches the way Gyousou's feelings feel whenever they enter his mind in comparison to his own.

"And here, this is for the two of you too." He hands over the pair of bracelets to Taiki. "One for each of you. Tidus deserves most of the credit though for all of this!"

It was his idea to go shopping together, after all, even though they made the decisions on what to get together.

'wow tidus why would you ever think i would have a crush on taiki for'.

"Reminds me of a beach," is what Tidus remarks near after Inigo's own assessment, inspecting the blanket. Really, they were all nice, but those colours did suit Saku. Would it go with his eyes? That blood-red.

"But it looks good! You know, Saku should wear orange more. Not that team Orange but-- like this." Don't they think so too? A kind of autumn orange. (In this thread we dress up Gyousou in our minds.)

The bracelets that passes over are a matching pair: simple looking at first, wooden polished bands of dart oak, then two rings of thin silver set near the centre but a space apart to compliment it. Tidus watches as they're passed over, huffing as Inigo also tries to pass over all the hard work to him, too. A humoured tilt to his mouth.

"Yeah, well, I wouldn't have picked up half this stuff without you. Stop leaving yourself out! We had a fun day, didn't we?"

Taiki is glad they agree on the colour, it did suit Gyousou and he hoped that his king approved.

"He should," He nodded at Tidus. It was still strange to see Lord Gyousou in earth style clothing, in combat trousers and a hoodie when all his strongest memories of him are of him in armour or complex robes.

But he is soon distracted by the bracelets, "Oh..." These are beautiful too and he looks up at the two of them, tears prickling his eyes, though they are tears of gratitude, not sadness.

He reached out to pull them both towards him in a hug.

"Thank you, both of you. I'm glad you had a fun day."

Hey, what is this sudden callout! It's not like Inigo has a bad habit of attributing anything good that happens to other people's actions rather than his own or anything, please don't mind it..

But before Inigo can even say anything in reply, there are those tears in Taiki's eyes that absolutely kill any word that could come from Inigo's throat. And before he can fuss about that, there's the hug.

He's quiet for a moment, just moving his arms so he can make sure there's an arm wrapped around Taiki in return too.

".. we did have a fun day together." There's some very genuine sentiment in that sentence. The mission had been terrible, but that last day.. Somewhere between Taiki's attempt to comfort him and making up with Tidus, it got a lot better. "And if it can make you happy now, Taiki, then it was an even more fun day in hindsight."

Should Tidus have expected the hug? He didn't, but he welcomes it anyway, an arm coming around Taiki to share in it. At least when it came to hugs, Taiki was all about indulging in those.

"But I still want a day out with Taiki!" Tidus proclaims, or whines, or whichever you like. What a shame they couldn't go out for one now. Calling those few hours before they had to return to the train a 'day out' made it out to be more than it was, but he'd take another one of those with their other friend. Without anything awkward and dumb between them. Without Tidus's emotions to get in the way.

--ah. But this does remind Tidus, pulling his head back. "Hey, we can't go out anywhere, but I still need to show you two the music in the music car. The playlists! You two need more tunes on you!"

Like, for example: Any.

Taiki would like that as well, a day out with them. Anything to keep his friends from worrying about everything that they had to worry about on the train.

He smiled though, "We can go to the music carriage if you want." He glanced at Inigo to guage how he felt about that. Taiki didn't mind.

"You can show us what music you like."

Inigo notices the way Taiki glances over at him, and he already knows what it means. He's trying to make sure Inigo is down for this plan as well, huh.

Well, it's not like he's going to be the factor here that keeps them from having fun, so he quickly smiles, squeezing Taiki a bit before throwing an eyeroll in Tidus's direction.

"Be careful, Taiki, he loves showing you the kind of music that makes your ears feel like they're going to fall off."

IT'S JUST A JOKE, OKAY. Mostly. He's still not quite recovered from the Skrillex from the other day.

"Wha? What's that mean?"

Excuse you, what joke?? Do you mean this offended reply and a stern look thrown back at you, Inigo? Because that's what you're going to get!

"You could have told me to turn it down if it was too loud." That's not the issue here... "Anyway, it's not about my kind of music. It's about finding what Taiki likes!" which, speaking of!, and actually looking at the guy. "Do you have an instrument you like most?"

Taiki looks like.. a strings guy, doesn't he! Soft music!

"I..." He shook his head, "I guess not. The harp is very pretty though."

He likes how it sounds but he hasn't heard a lot of different music. There were some pop stars his brother enjoyed and had cassettes of, but music hadn't been a large part of his life on earth and music was one of the old kings excesses and not something Tai could afford.

He's definitely making a 'you know what you did!!' kind of face at Tidus. Because Tidus knows what he did! PAH!! (As Tidus would say.)

"Well, I guess that means you'll just have to try listening to some things." Calm things, thank you very much.

Also yes, Inigo isn't sure what music he likes either, but he will always put Taiki first! Especially since Taiki deserves to have something nice for once. Like finding music he enjoys.
