"I've been able to get the blade to light up, but I haven't been able to extend the fire past the blade like I desire. It might work better if I can make the flame stronger. But swords are forged through fire..too much and in theory the blade would start to lose stability."

Xue Yang slices his finger with the blade and then writes the talisman directly onto the sword with his blood. Once completely he activates it and the flames envelope the sword. He does a slashing motion but the flames simply continue to cling to the blade.

"The most I feel this would do would be intimidation more then effective."
