"You could get the silver guard, but I'd recommend being precise about the dimensions so it fits snugly, or get it with a soldering iron so you could fill the seam with melted. It'd be the safest way to attach it. We could maybe get around that with low heat metal to solder it anyway, but it'd be a challenge and probably not look as nice or precise as you might want."
