Another Naja Chore Log - Mostly OTA
Who: Najaran, her cards, and whomsoever wishes some more threading!
Where: Garden, Kitchen, and spaces between.
When: Pretty much every day after the Storm ended until the new platform
What: Najaran does chores. In her own special way.
Warnings: possible mentions of gross, violence, and such. Also headaches, probably.
After her trip to be healed - see the first top level - Naja was back to chores. Even if she was tired and draggy. For those who have never seen this, Najaran doing chores starts with gathering the largest pot in the kitchen - cleaning it if it needs it - and filling it with water before dragging it to the garden car, where she lights a fire under it on a special rig. She summons Knight to watch the fire for her as she and Goligan and Ediolan and Gremlin dash around to gather all the dirty clothes and the ingredients for soup. Then she returned to the garden car, going between washing the dirty wash in the pot, hanging the clean stuff to dry, folding what is already dry for returning, and prepping the meat an veg for the stew. Once all the laundry is washed and either hanging to dry or already dry - if she can convince a certain elf who radiates heat to keep her company - she lugs the pot to the kitchen, washes the pot out, then refills it with water, spices, and seasoning, then hauls it back to the garden car to make the stew. She makes it in large batches to fill the fridge with it so people can eat whenever they want a meal. Now that she knows how to use the oven, after the stew is done and the garden car cleaned up, she'd draw her creatures back to their cards, and then started working in the kitchen, making pizza and breads and cakes and whatever she could make until she was too tired to kneed and mix any more. Then she'd sit by the oven, resting, while the last batches baked....

He was in the medical car topping off the non-medicinal supplies for the doctors, so he had sandwiches out on the table as well.

"Why are you cooking here?" he wonders aloud. "Isn't there a kitchen on the train?"

Takato watches them with equal curiosity. "I don't think they are, boy." He turns and addresses Najaran. "They're not,are they?" A frown. "But if you're making stew.... What about the stovetop?"

A frown. "Cards?" Were they like the Duel Monsters cards that Kaiba and Rei had shown him?
"Mmm, the stovetop is usually on top of the oven. It gets hot so you can cook things in pots on top of it."
