Well Alice doesn't sound excited, but she doesn't let that stop her. She has to be careful with Alice. Not that Alice will get leaky eyed over a stupid story but rather that Alice is nosy and dangerous. She likes Alice though and she is feeling more comfortable about being around her now she knows the woman had pushed someone in front of a train once.

"Once there did be being a man, he did be being a killer. He did be killing people for money..." She glanced at Alice, "Which do be being a terrible bad job for wicked and evil people." She probably didn't need to lay that on as thick as she would with other people.

"One day he did be killing a man. That man did be being the leader of a town, he did be being a lazy and wicked man himself. He did be eating feasts when people did be dying of starvation. He did be chopping off children's hands if they did be stealing bread." So he deserved to die, really.

But on with the story.

"But our wicked killer did no be being smart enough and he did be being caught. The personal guard of the noble man did be catching him when he did be trying to be escaping and he did be killing him dead." Which was the price of failure really. But of course, that is not the end.

"But this guard, he did be being so angry. Because his master did be being dead and he did supposed to be being protecting him. So killing him did no be even enough for how much he did be wanting to be hurting him. So he did be taking the body outside and he did be digging a big hole and putting the body in it and then he did be..." She leaned forward, for maximum affect. "Putting soil in the hole, filling it to the top."

A pause, as she watched Alice with wide eyes.
