He goes back to the noodles and places out two bowls that he fills once it has finished heating up. He turns off the stove and sets the remainder aside in case Xingchen wants more. ANd if he doesn't it will have to cool off before he puts it away anyway.

He carries the two bowls over and sets them down, settling into the seat next to Xingchen. "Give it a minute to cool down. It isn't an overly impressive meal but at least it will fill you up."
