Well one of them was a monster. Odd how it wasn't Zeneth.
She nodded. "He showed up. Everyone else who was still in the tournament dropped out. Most were either too injured or did not want to face him. The first thing he did was attack the judges, informing me he was out to play dirty. I did the best I could to keep him from having a chance to pull his Tempest card. Including attempting the spell Mutation on Goligan."
"There is a reason Najaran has been forbidden most spells," he said flatly.
"He um... kind of got arms and legs and lots and lots of muscles, and I thought for sure he'd win, but um... apparently Mutation has some horrible side effects..." she winced. That had... not been pretty. And not just because weird buff pseudo-human Goligan had no clothing, but had his staff body as an exterior spine that ended in a nub like a hard pointed tail off his back. It had been very creepy and Najaran shuddered, recalling it.
Goligan glared at her. "You only had to see it, I had to live it," he snapped, correctly diving her thoughts.
Najaran quickly moved on. "I summoned Knight, he summoned his monster, we each summoned a weapon and I tried to fight him directly to keep him from pulling Tempest. It almost worked too...."
Re: in that case... OOC for gross/body/horror/etc!
