"Are we supposed to have intense opinions on vegetables now?" Inigo replies, a good amount of amusement still in his voice.
Because this whole situation is just so funny. He honestly expected Tidus to drop the way of talking really soon, or for Roland to not go along with it, but look at the two of them now. They're really getting into this, aren't they. It feels weirdly familiar, and Inigo needs to think for a moment what it reminds him of before realising-- right. It's just like Owain and Cynthia when they get a little bit too much into their roleplaying.
But whereas that may have annoyed him slightly at times back home, right now he's just having fun with being the most modern-sounding out of the three of them for once. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
"Although.. how about making it a competition, huh? You guys can both carve one, and then I'll decide whose is better!" .. maybe he's growing a little bold in his amusement, but let him have his moment for once, alright. Besides, you can tell he's just horsing around when he adds something he'd usually never say, like-- "I'm the prince here, after all!"
