"Unfortunately, it just isn't," Gen sighed wistfully. "That's why I'm hoping to learn real magic, some day, since it exists for a lot of people on the train."

He grinned at her, "I think it'd be really cool if I could entertain people with really disappearing things, or making colorful little lights, or illusions. Right now I need to do everything the old fashioned way, like this."

Gen reached forward, and appeared to pull the Ace of Spades out of her ear, and twirled it to face her with a wink.
