"It was called Obon." Natsuno explained. "It originated in religion to honour your ancestors.

"It lasts three days. Typically people get together with their families, they might visit a shrine, sometimes thre are festivals and people wear yukata. Sometimes people send candles down the river, at least, I've heard that. I've been to the festival a couple of times, but not the shrine. My parents were against religion."
