Goligan suggested I draw a card for defense, since they clearly weren't defenseless normal humans. I wouldn't have attacked anyone unless they came after me first. But.... most of my cards were back at the Inn. Then one of them used a Bind card on me. All sorts of thick leather straps all over me and Goligan to keep us still. It was super scary, I thought we were gonna die! The lord of Soron floated close but mostly looked human again. But then his mouth opened."
She swallowed then continued.
His mouth opened and opened and opened. Wider and wider. And another face was pushing out from his throat. It was all gross with two bug eyes and two blank eyes over those. Spotty face, pointy nose. And what looked like way too many huge bug legs on either side of the face, pushing it through the Lord of Soron's mouth...."
"He introduced himself as a Black Cepter, Depthera." She wasn't going to mention the other man headed cane. "Depthera landed and no longer looked like the Lord of Soron. His cronies were crawling around, still looking like weird bug human hybrids. Then the floor started opening to either side of where he was standing, right in front of us! And then something started to reach out of the hole..."
