He narrows his eyes at her explanation of what a pokemon was, because that was some real circular logic, but it's not an important detail so he doesn't bother to press her about it. "Well I guess that makes sense, if there are humans and souls from other worlds, too." No reason a pokemon couldn't come from more than one place.

Anybody strong enough to take advantage of the fact that I can't heal instantly anymore is strong enough they'd be able to kill me even if I could.
