There was a ton of bear to cut up into more manageable pieces, but that was fine. Senku wasn't afraid of hard work that took a lot of time or effort, and he enjoyed keeping busy. Bears were bigger than most things he'd had to do this with, but the principles were the same.
This kind of work didn't involve much thought, more like he needed to keep this hands steady and he didn't have to calculate much, so conversation wasn't at all a problem. He'd finish with segments of meat and then offer them to Tidus to put away where he liked. Every so often a chunk would disappear into his own arms band with the bones and insides as he cleared them out. It was nice and methodical, and if they weren't talking, it would be rather meditative.
He listened, he asked questions, and then he added. "The places I've been, I've got copious notes. Not just from what I saw there and found there, but the things I brought back onto the train to study after the fact. I'm trying to see if there's any connection between the worlds aside from the train and the void itself, neither of which we understand yet."
He paused. "At least, those notes are in my head, I haven't written them yet. Kaiba did ask me to, I'm just preparing for the mission first, but I'll get on it really soon. I don't have nearly as many places as you though." If they ran out of conversation, he had questions about what Tidus said before, in regards to his connection to the world through the SCA. It made him want to tear apart his SCA, but there was a risk to that too, wasn't there?
