Who: Enna and you!

What: Enna claims the captaincy.

[The ICPs on the train will all start up, showing Enna's face, looking uncharacteristically serious. And she seems to have figured out the ICPs much better since her last time.]

Cawww... That mission was a mess. It sucked. For a lot of reasons.

[She sighs, folding her arms, her cloak wrapped around her.]

Hi. If I haven't met you yet, I'm Enna. Gienah Alchiba, captain of the Argo Minor. But call me Enna. Or Captain, 'cause that's what this is about.

When we were fighting the bad guys, I called myself the captain of the Voidtrecker Express. That was mostly to make myself a priority target, 'cause I'm the one who had the unbreakable shield. But I meant it, too. A crew this size needs a captain, so I'll do it. 'Cause, that was awful.

We need to make sure this won't happen again. Not just so that we're more prepared, so we can fight through anything, but we need to be careful about who does what. Someone in the group I was in killed one of the bad guys after they were already pinned down. I dunno who that guy is, but that's not something I will allow to happen again.

[She takes a minute to gather herself again, figure her thoughts out as she rustles her cloak.]

I need to know what all happened on this mission. What groups were where. Please report in with what you know of what happened on this mission, what you did. If you know anything about who those enemies were, that's important, too. We can't keep sailing blind. If we get another mission like this and we're any less organized, we might not have anyone survive.

I'll be at the.... There's no helm. Caw. Okay. I'll be in the kitchen car. Come report to me there. I'm going to start making plans for what to do next time.

[The video ends. She didn't even punch the ICP this time.]

[should she be out of medical? Probably not, it's not like she's going to be doing anything heavy for a while unless it's making food, or, in this case, a cup of tea.

We do have a council... That said, I will stand behind about the killing of enemies already downed. That shouldn't be allowed. Not if the multiverse thinks of us as heroes.

What council? Caw.

[She folds her arms.]

Doesn't matter what other people think of us. It won't be allowed, period. I don't want that guy going out on missions anymore if combat will happen.

The one listed on the Welcome Guide, and I suspect we'll be having a meeting about this as soon as we can. At least one of us Councilmembers almost died and we're still recovering.

[She settled back against the bench, tea in hand, but her gaze is level and that of a leader.]

What team is he on? This should be taken to the Team Leaders.

[Willow has no energy to respond to the video that came on the ICP, and instead manages to pull herself out of bed in her pajamas with the orange hoodie haphazardly put on as she wanders her way to the kitchen. Not even caring to brush her hair out or even fix the loose ponytail it was tied up in the night before. To put it mildly, she looks like hell on the physically exhausted end from a near mental breakdown the day before.

When she arrives to the kitchen, the first thing she does is get herself some tea before facing Enna. And boy does she have some Words about that mission.]

Two things:
One. I will accept you as captain as that showed true grit. Not many have that courage to make themselves a decoy, no matter how stupid it was to do so.
Two. I was, and have been, on healing shifts. I am APPALLED by the lack of on-board standby there was when I evacuated one of the fighters to heal her.

[Her temper rises as she says the second half of her statement, truly furious at what happened and the lack of at-the-ready healers while others were on the planet. She still needs to collect her thoughts together and breathe before she says more, so she just tiredly leans against a wall, sipping her tea.]

Dunno them. Dunno you? Caw.

[She folds her arms again. Enna doesn't look away- Rather, she meets her gaze. Enna is no stranger to leading herself.]

I couldn't tell. I think red, but in that fight, everyone's clothes were red. What can the leaders do?

[Enna takes a moment to process this. She's pretty.... proud? Happy for the open voice of trust there. But she has to listen to the rest, and nod.]

That's important... I know at least a couple people died. I don't wanna let it happen anymore, but we need more medical for that...

I think there were some medical people around on the ground, but it isn't enough. Can we get more doctors trained here?

Right, I don't think we introduced ourselves last we spoke. Iden'no Eva; Councilmember and one of the Orange leaders. And the one that almost died.

[There's a polite bow, but even as she straightens, there's a wince. Ow ow ow. Myths but is her body still sore.

And a grimace at the reminder of the red her clothes had ended up as.]

Given this wasn't one of us he killed, we can't impose jail time or a punishment- and yes, I know how that sounds.

[A sigh as she holds up her free hand.] What we can do is talk to him about his behaviour and if he has anyone from their world, we can recruit them to help. We can't stop people from going on missions and that is not a path I want to start going down. It leads to a slippery slop I am unwilling to cross.

The best you can likely do is figure out what team he's going with next mission and avoid them. It's not ideal yet it's the best we can do right now.

[Enna folds her arms. She doesn't look quite angry, but more... Frustrated?]

I'm not gonna avoid him. If he's going out and might kill people, I'm going to stop him. His crimes don't not happen just 'cause I don't know about them. If I have the power to stop him, and I don't, then it's the same as helping him do it.

[She doesn't seem to like the rest of it, either.]

Why can't we stop him?

[Frustrated is a mood.]

Does this mean if you see him in the act of possibly committing a crime that you'd stop him, or...?

[There's a headtilt here, Eva's voice gentle and seeking clarification before she addresses the rest of what's been said. She could assume, but based on what she knows about Enna, and has seen of her around the train...

She's getting a little be of a 'literal thinker' vibe. Not much, but it's enough to have her pause.]

[Those words about deaths crack some of the pieces she'd picked back up again. No one dying was what kept her together, but news that even one person died sends a chill of horror down her spine and the look to match that. To keep herself from outwardly losing it, she takes multiple deep breaths to calm herself before speaking again, voice a little more shaken than before.]

Th-there were deaths? Who did we lose? [Another breath, grip tightening on the mug.] I do not know if we can, but I am sure Wen Qing and Ichigo could train some. I can train those who have a talent for it in healing arts on the magical end. Which I must ask, are you in need of healing?

[because that's clearly what an exhausted healer needs to be doing right now: her duty as a healer.]

[She is... correct. Extreme literal thinker here.]

Yeah. If it's something I don't agree with, anyway.

[She's also... bad at knowing when she needs to clarify. Like, right now.]

[The problem with being Enna is, well....

She can't lie. She hates lying. Lies, from anyone else, are obnoxious, but from her, it feels like an itch in her soul. So when Willow asks, Enna can't lie about it.]

I got blown up. It still hurts, but I've bandaged it.

I dunno the guy who died. But his last act before dying was to kill an enemy who we'd already restrained. If I see him again I'm gonna be mad.

[Masumi turns up to the kitchen after seeing the message, curious but willing to go with Enna’s self declared captaincy for now.]

“I didn’t see what happened when you claimed captaincy since I got evacuated, but that sounds like a brave move. We have a council, but no known conductor right now.

Anyways, I have a few points to mention. First off, I made an ICP call about this earlier, but I think more people should go to Fight Club at the least. Not everyone here knows how to defend themselves, and missions can go bad quickly. There was a previous mission that went bad too a few months back, where all teams ended up having to unexpectedly fight, so this isn’t a one off situation.

Second, can you describe the killer? I’m not sure what we can do on the train about it, but I’m at least familiar with finding a culprit.”

[What, you think Masumi is going to ignore the part about someone killing a downed saboteur?]

Cawww....

[Enna nods, though she seems a bit frustrated.]

I dunno. I can't describe him- He had black hair, but he died right after killing the down guy. I couldn't get a good look at him with everything going on. And he was wearing red, but everyone's clothes were red with how that fight went.

[She's mad about it, too. She wants to be able to identify someone who'd do that, but.]

I dunno what 'Fight club' is but if it's learning how to fight, I agree. And I haven't really heard of the council, either. If they can't help stop stuff like this, then I don't really care about 'em. Caw.

[Eva exhales then grins wryly.]

Can you clarify? like... I'm not going to be mad. I need to know what you're thinking, Enna-san. I can't help unless I know that.

[She's about to get Shin Vibes, isn't she?]

[That candor, while painful, is always something Willow respects and wants from people. Even if it hurts her in the process. Though that admittance to being blown up makes Willow wince and sigh.]

Bandaged does not mean healed, let me take a look at it. I can heal it with magic, it's of no worry.

How terrible... but I refuse to let anyone else die, horrible acts such as that or not, they are still crewmates and should not die if any healer can do their duties in time. Could you describe him to me, if you remember what he looks like?

[....wait.... seeing him again?] What do you mean see him again, if he is dead, then he is dead.

Crimes aren't always bad just 'cause they're crimes. Sometimes the people making the laws are bad, so you need to do things that are crimes.

[She rustles her cloak, puffing it up like a bird preening itself.]

Cawww. If he kills someone who is still fighting and trying to kill him, then that's okay. If there's no way to stop someone trying to kill you except by killing them, then you do what you gotta. But if he tries to kill someone who can't fight back, or isn't dangerous, and I can stop him, I will. I'll fight him if I have to.

[Enna obeys, taking her cloak off, and, well. Her fashion sense involves wearing as little as possible, so her top, which is basically a sports bra, shows the bandages pretty well.

She's gonna pull that off, too, if Willow doesn't stop her. No shame, and medical stuff is important.]

I couldn't get a good look at him. He had black hair and he was bloody.

People don't stay dead here. Or so I heard. Like the whole place has the blessings of Phoenix.

Makes sense to me.

[Yeah. Shin vibes here. But, Eva's content to let it die, too. Especially when they have more important things to deal with.]

If we stop him from going on missions, it's far to easy for that to slide into finding excuses as to why people can't do various things. It wouldn't happen overnight, but it's a slippery slope that is very hard to recover from.

[A sigh as she takes a sip of tea.] We do need to talk to him and find out his view too; the battle was chaotic enough that even I had a hard time keeping track and that was just within my group.

[Never mind after the explosion.]

That said, if you want a spot of leadership, we do have the council.

“Alright, he has black hair, is possibly Red team, and died afterwards. That probably narrows it down, so I’ll keep an eye out for anyone fitting that description.”

[Surely there’s not that many people who died during the mission, right?

And as for Fight Club and the council-]

“Fight Club is generally held in the training gym, and yes, people go usually to practice or spar, but there’s some people who offer training to others there. The council are a group of people who were elected to the job, they get together to make decisions about the train. I would at least talk to them about dealing with the person who killed one of the attackers, but it sounds like you have reason to think they won’t help.”

I don't get it. Stopping him from missions doesn't mean anything for anyone else?

[It doesn't make clear logical sense to her, so.]

... I don't really care about the council. I don't really want leadership. But we need a leader and I'm a captain. I can fix things.

If people listen to me, I can fix things. But people don't listen unless you have power. And power and responsibility go together. So now I'm a captain. I don't wanna be a council. If the council can do what they need without me, then I'm just gonna be myself. And if they can't, then I'll be captain.

You don't need to remove your top, I can see the bandages just fine.

[Willow shakes her head as she puts a hand on Enna's. Besides, she doesn't want anyone being a creep if they walked in on a bare chested Enna. As she lets the magic flow over the wounds, Willow lets out another sigh. Just her luck not to know who it was to check the roster. No matter, she'll find out later.]

I see, how odd-- what do you mean 'blessings of phoenix? My people don-- I mean I have never heard of such a thing before.

[Catching herself, Willow offers an awkward smile in return, praying Enna didn't catch that she basically outed herself by accident as a Phoenix herself.]

I dunno about 'won't'. I think they can't. They're not organized. A captain should be doing more. Giving roles. Matching people from their abilities to their tasks. Setting up more rear support. Fighting on the front lines.

[She folds her arms.]

Fight club... Sounds good. I shouldn't go, though.

[Enna nods, and keeps it on, though she sort of... wiggles. Under the healing magic. That feels weird.]

People from the country of Phoenix. The spirit of Phoenix can do a whole lot of weird stuff.... Some people come back if they die, or some people just burn. I don't know a lot about them... I went there and got the Star, but it was way way too hot there, so we didn't stay long. I didn't see a lot of them, and there aren't a lot of people there... The food was good, though!

We have blind people that go on missions; would you say they can't do missions just because they're blind? No. I understand you're upset about this and so am I, but I also don't know the whole story. Only what you've told me and that's that you had him pinned in the heat of battle while making yourself a target. For all we know, the guy could have had a hidden weapon you didn't notice.

[She sighs, then straightens, every inch the Leader -the Living Legend- she's been shaped into over her life. ]

The Council are the leaders -the captains if you will- of the train; we haven't done anything about the aftermath of the mission because we haven't had a chance to yet. Give us time to worth things out, please.
