Really big Luggage
Who: Xue Yang and OTA
Where: Luggage
When: Imagination 14
What: Coming from from the dead after the mission
Warnings: Discussions about Death
Xue Yang isn't afraid of dying when it is permanent, but knowing that he would just pop right back up on the train made it even easier. At least he was able to get a good final blow on the jerks that were having their way with everyone from the train. So when he pops open the suitcase he has found himself inside of, he really isn't bothered by the fact that he died on the battlefield. Is there any better way to go?
He stretches his arms up, trying to work the stiffness from his body and checking to see if any of his wounds from the fight are still going to bother him. Even though he died, he hardly expected to come back completely healed. Perhaps this is the way to do things. No real recovery time. Just back to normal! He does feel a little soreness where the shrapnel had gone in so he will have to make sure there is nothing remaining there. But his spiritual energy is back and feels fairly good considering...
There might be a small pout as he realizes that his clothing unfortunately still has the blood stains and the damage it sustained while out on the planet. He had given up precious candy for these robes. Perhaps he can find someone who will take care of it.
He pushes himself up and out of the suitcase and looks around the luggage car. He really has only been in here a couple times. He doesn't generally order things and this is his first time dying on the train. It's a curious place to wake up in. He starts towards the exit of the car. Might as well continue with his day.
[ooc: feel free to encounter him in the luggage car, or in the hall heading back to his room.]

This is the validation he needs that he felt relieved. "So you do care about me, miss me, and want me. That's what I wanted to know."
Quietly, he nuzzles on his shoulder and on his hair. "Xue Yang, I'm blind. I can wait here all day, not going anywhere, and I will not do my chores not until you kiss me because more than anything, that's what I want you to do. Kiss me and make me do nothing but stay here."
no subject
He is very capable of playing that game just to see if Xingchen will follow through with that statement. He continues to hold him, happy to finally be able to do so.
no subject
He realized, maybe he's afraid the train will separate them or he'll be going away. In that case, he'll make sure he's behave so he could stay here with him. He embraces him back, arms wrapped around his mid-section, feeling the fragility of their bond, being slowly mended.
"So, you have to work hard, A-Yang? For me? But in all seriousness, yes, I will stay with you. Or at least, try."
no subject
"I'll work hard on the missions to make up for my time on the train." He prefers when he is off the train. Those kinds of tasks are ones he is generally good at and doesn't mind doing.
no subject
"Those missions are dangerous. So do you prefer a life like a soldier? A soldier's life has no fear of dying." Unlike himself, he's a pacifist and prefer peace and helping people.
no subject
He wouldn't call himself a soldier. He just likes fighting and killing. A solider does so with a purpose, or fighting for something. He fights because he wants to.
no subject
"You're strong enough. You don't have to prove it. Consider a peaceful path of no killing or violence." A thoughtful silence, "If you want a future with me, then think about it."
Being blind, he can only guess where his lips are. So tilting his head, closing the distance, and leaning in, he kisses him. Ah, he caught the corner of his lips, so leaning further, he finally caught his lips fully and kisses him for real.
no subject
He kisses him back lightly at first but then can't resist pressing a little more enthusiastically into it. He puts his arms around the other man, holding him close but not so tightly that Xingchen can't escape if he wants to.
no subject
He doesn't pull away and kisses him fully. When he needs to break for air, he relaxes and stays in his arms.
no subject
He keeps his arms wrapped around him and rests his head on the taller man's shoulder.
"Does this mean I have to let you go to do chores?"
no subject
"Eventually I will, but I figured you won't let me go at least for a while. Unless you want me to stay here for a little longer?"
no subject
He grins as he holds him just a little tighter to prove his point.
no subject
"Then I'll stay. Only because I want to and you wanted me to. I'm not tired as long as I bring you peace. We have plenty of time." He murmured.
Then quietly, "You were hurt, weren't you?"
no subject

With a thoughtful look, "During the mission. No one tells me of anything during the evacuation other than Glorfindel, so I managed to evacuate at the last minute. I was thinking of going to look for you, but I decided to wait for you. Later on, when I boarded Wei Wuxian felt he failed to help you, which I think isn't the case. Other than that, I don't know what else happened to you. So, I thought you were hurt."

He hopes he doesn't have to deal with robots ever again. They were frustrating and a little boring. The big ones were tough but they were still less exciting then fighting a human.
no subject
"Xue Yang, that sounds very painful. I wish I could have done something, but my disability will be a burden to the team." With a trembling hand, he cups his face tenderly. Now he can say with sincerity, rubbing his forehead with genuine affection, "I'm truly glad you came back."
no subject
"I'm okay, daozhang. It was painful at the time but I'm fine now. You don't have to be upset."
no subject
"All right. You get to rest and sleep if you have to. If you need anything, let me know. I'm going to go do my chores." He gently loosens his arms to release him.

"Rest well, A-Yang." He said softly and he shuts off the lights with much fumbling to find the switch and shuts the cabin door. He won't be gone for long, but he'll be back much later for the afternoon before he knows it as he takes his rest.
