What: Welcome to the train’s first ever community open forum. Come for the food, stay for the best discussions ever.

(Not a warning but a heads-up that one TL will be dedicated to the dissemination and discussion of the bonus trek during the last mission. For your OOC reference, please see here.)



Someway through the 18th of Imagination, an announcement for the already spoken for meeting is shared by the ICPs, giving people twenty minutes to come to the upper Music Carriage for the gathering. While the chairs mostly face the stage, they’ve been curved to allow people to face their fellow passengers too, so not to put the sole focus in one place.

This is a meeting for all, and everyone will have their chance to speak and be heard.

The promised snack table sits to one side of the room, and on the stage, the white board from the standard coach has been brought in, written on it bullet points for the planned topics. To assist in the flow of discussion, familiar moderators stand in place to help jot things down, carry conversation further should one idea end while another is ready to begin, among other such administrative tasks to organize the forum. Plus, the ICP’s are in constant use all throughout the meeting, with basic announcements about what’s being discussed now, and how more people are still welcome to catch up to the Music Car if they hear something that interests them.

Grab a plate, settle down, and let’s get to work.

[ Here is a guy in horrific Halloween colours with a huge sitar draped over his legs, they're crossed beneath it.

He's playing, very softly, background noise.

Mostly though, Demyx is listening, trying to get a feel for what's going on on this train now that he's faced the crushing disappointment that he can't leave. ]

[Also a new guy attending the meeting out of boredom and necessity, but this is a new thing to him.

He glances at the kid with the instrument and gives him a light playful nudge while taking notes and jotting in his notepad]

Do you find this meeting boring too?

Yeah, totally a drag, don't you think?

[ He grins. Not at all though, he's listening to all the discord no matter how polite it is. He's worried, a little bit because places that aren't very harmonious in his experience end in a lot of backstabbing. Literally. ]

Somewhat, but if most of the people in the train are coming here, then this must be Very Important. So I don't know much as you are. I thought this train is a vehicle that takes people on a vacation.

[tapping his notepad with his pen] Is there any point of the meeting that interests you? By the sound of it, they want to give us jobs to do.

It sounds to me like some kind of kid's camp nightmare from what my roommate said. I don't know really, I just got here.

[ He shakes his head. ] I'm mostly just interested in music.

It sure does now that you put it. I just got here too, but the meeting got me thinking in what I'm good at. It seems whatever this mission they're talking about, it's stressful.

[With a pique of interests] Do you play music? What kind of instrument you're playing?

[melodiouspacifist]

I'm good at a few things, but really it's mostly the music. [ That's his story and he's sticking to it. ]

It's a sitar. It's a bit of a unique stringed instrument.

[crimson_rain]

Ah, a musician. I think that's quite a good talent to have. I myself is a painter, a sculptor, and occasionally I cook.

A sitar? I never seen anything like it before. Is it custom made?

Huh, I don't thnk I know anyone who really does any of those things. Cool.

[ He laughs at the question and considers it. ]

Yeah, you could say it's custome made I guess. There are other sitars, but this one's mine.

[ Custom made by his heart, maybe. ]
