Make the Clock Reverse (Day 22 Jelly)
Bring back what once was mine.
On the evening of Day 21, before it goes dark, any Voidtreckers who look out of the windows might see the void is a little more chaotic than usual. There's a little bit of turbulence. Nothing too bad, nowhere near how bad it got during the void storm, but noticeable all the same.
It doesn't last long, and the night continues. Those who are not early to bed may see the odd golden flicker out of the corner of their eyes, darting away and vanishing if pursued.
Strange...
Change the fates' design.
"Good Morning passengers. Today is day twenty two of the month of Jelly." The morning announcement wakes everyone up as usual, and they awaken in their own beds.
Though, for some passengers, those beds may seem completely unfamiliar: a strange room full of people they don't recognise. For others the room and people are perfectly normal, just... bigger than they remember them being yesterday.
Or it might be that they feel healed, old scars faded. The changes might be small, sporting their embarrassing teenage hair cut; or drastic, their whole body younger.
Either way, it is clear that something very strange has happened on the train.
(OOC: All the information about this event is Here. All changes will reverse the next night and passengers will wake up normal on day 23.
Update: In early afternoon the dressing carriage cupboards will open and animal onesies will be available in child size.)
Senku Ishigami | OTA
Senku of the past, at this point distant past, was a lot more socially conforming in some ways in that he is not going to wander around nude as a six year old. He can be found in an oversized orange t-shirt that definitely goes down past his knees.
Despite being young, he was not crying, or sitting around terrified, but rather he was walking cautiously, looking around with wide eyes. He didn’t recognize anyone, not that it would be the same in reverse, his hair was still very much the same, although instead of two bangs he had one.
He was fairly small for a six year old, not quite average - yet - but he still had many years to grow into his height.
He must have left out the toolbox overnight because Senku had a couple of tools in hand.
II. No Exit?
One of the first things Senku did was look out the windows. The light was way too harsh for him and he whined and covered his eyes until he was sure the flashing was out of his face. It was one thing to be prepared for something like that, but quite another when it was unexpected.
The light outside the window told him nothing. He went to what he assumed was the nearest door and started using the tools to try and get it to open, unaware that this was a futile attempt.
III. A Definite Disaster
If someone caught sight of him early enough, all they might see was a chair being dragged along the counter, to the counter with the various kitchen appliances.
Senku had his eyes set on the ice cream machine, a glint in his eyes.
No, he wasn’t trying to get ice cream, but rather he was standing on the counter, in a bit of a crouch, wrestling the plug out of the wall and then with the screwdriver started taking it apart.
Eventually as he worked, that ice cream was going to melt and a very sweet, sticky puddle was forming on the floor.
IV. Can He Just Sit Still A Minute?
Someone has provided him with a book, in an effort to get him to sit down for just a little while. No, it was none of the children’s books, this was a physics textbook. He was kicking his feet a little under the table as he read, his eye scanning the pages.
Senku let out a little cackle. “I see, I see, Ohm’s law is the relation between current, voltage and resistance.”
It was a bit of a snapshot of what Senku would be like in a classroom setting.
V. Wildcard
[Choose your own adventure. If you want to pick on him, pick on him, I’m game.]
I Strange New Place
He hadn't expected to see a tiny Senku, looking lost but curious, gazing all around the train in his orange shirt.
Gen's eyes were very wide. He crouched down, slowly, wondering if this was a complete transformation - or only a physical one. "Senku-chan?"
no subject
He stared at him a moment, appraising him with wide eyes.
"Yes?" He asked, stopping in his steps a little wary of him.
no subject
1. he'd be incredibly smart
2. he'd have likely little respect for adults he didn't trust or appreciate, and
3. he'd have little regard for rules he didn't understand or like.
So, in other words - Gen was going to have his work cut out for him, if he was going to look after Senku until he was back to his usual age. Or at least, until his memories returned.
"I know you're feeling pretty lost and confused, my dear - this isn't Byakuya-san's place, is it?" Gen was straightforward, thinking little Senku would have even less patience for small talk. "I promised to look after you until things return back to normal. Were you hungry for breakfast?"

Because he passes Senku in one of the train's aisles or corridors, relatively early in the morning. And he just walks, spots that shade of hair, and instinctively says: "Morning, Senku."
And Inigo is half prepared to just continue his journey down the train to wherever it was headed, when he realises something here.. isn't right..
.. Why does he have to look so far down to see the other?
"Senku?!" There it is, that's the appropriate amount of freaking out.
no subject
"What?" He turns to look at the stranger, with a lightly furrowed brow.

"No no no no no!" Della ran in, trying to lift up Senku by the armpits and make him stop. "Bad idea, super bad idea!"
no subject
Suddenly being grabbed out of nowhere was enough to make him scream, loudly, kicking his feet. It wasn't words, so much as a screech like an angry cat. Admittedly he probably couldn't do much damage to Della, even if he was kicking at her.

No Exit
After a moment, she finally speaks up, apparently still a bit nervous but at least more confident around someone who looked right around her age.]
What are you doing? I thought you weren't supposed to open train doors.
[She's ridden trains in Japan before so she's familiar with the rules, but those were all modern trains, none of them like this train.]

I want to see outside!

Okay, how the hell is she going to resist a kid reading about Ohm's law? Bulma isn't, that's the answer. Instead, she's leaning slightly to look over his shoulder at the book he's reading, smiling slightly. Bulma herself was reading at that level as a kid, so she's impressed, but also wanting to gauge just how smart this kid is.
So don't mind her as she leans on the back of a chair nearby, chipping in with :
"Just wait until you learn the vector for electromagnetics."
no subject
"I will." Senku confirmed. "But it won't help me with my rocket right now because I'm going to use a chemical based propellant, because it's cheaper."

Hi, hello, here's a bald boy wearing an oversized robe, the excess fabric tied around itself in a way that's reminiscent of a proper sash. Pale blond stubble shows on his scalp, and wide brown eyes are currently fixed on the even smaller Senku.
"Why would om have anything to do with... is it for a spell? That's all electricity words, right?"
no subject
He looked back at the book. "And yeah it's about electricity. This is physics."

The hair is a dead giveaway, but Roland's watching him attempt to pry open the the exit doors with tools and honestly. There could really only be one person on this train brave enough to do this, even at this age. He chuckles to himself before approaching from behind, carefully, wondering how Senku has digressed if he had once told Roland before that his adult self was a version of him vastly improved.
"Try the screwdriver."
He pipes up, playing the part of someone wholly invested in this endeavor. Hello, Senku. Here is your designated adult for the day.
no subject
The voice was unfamiliar, so he offered one brief glance in his direction. He confirmed it, nope, he had no idea who this guy is.
But his idea wasn't total garbage, so he switched to the screwdriver and tried to dig it into gaps to pry the door open, which shockingly didn't seem to be doing anything.

IV. Can He Just Sit Still A Minute?
"Ohm’s law?"
She knows what it is, but she is curious to see how much he knows - or even understands the book he's reading.
no subject
"Georg Ohm was interesting."
Sorry for the delay. Feel free to drop this if it's too old.
You're fine
