There were a lot of things Danny liked about his life here on the train. No ghosts to fight, no ghost hunters hunting him, no classes to worry about failing because he was too busy fighting ghosts and avoiding hunters....

The lack of space wasn't one of them. Flying was one of his favorite things about his powers, and there really wasn't anywhere here that he could push himself into any kind of speed. It really sucked on the days he was feeling a little restless.

Which may explain why he was currently flying laps around the ceiling of the gym car. Upside down.

"What would you want to practice? It's been a while since we've meditated together, but I doubt you want to practice that."

Danny makes a face.

"Yeah... I still kind of suck at that. Maybe working on shields? I've been trying to get mine to stay around for more than a few seconds."

"Unfortunately, the best way I know of to improve shields, is to improve concentration. Which again...meditation." Raven gave a little shrug, under her cloak. "What ideas do you have?"

Danny shrugs.

"I've just been making one and trying to see how long I can hold it."

"So you want me to just lob blasts at you while you hold a shield?" Actually how many basket balls and other balls did they have? Raven could lob those with dark-energy just as easily as a straight blast. Probably safer for Danny too.

"Eh, could be worth a shot."

He was bored enough to give it a try.
