3 Kazoo - Adult Ballroom Social and Epic Kids' Game Night

You've seen the flyers. You've heard the announcements. You've ordered additional party reinforcements if you wanted them. Some of you have even helped her to prepare. And now it's finally here - the Adult Ballroom Social that she's been planning these many, many week-and-a-half.

But you wouldn't know it only took that long to throw it together. She's gone all out for this one. Including the wardrobe that's been opened up, there are four cars that have been set aside for tonight. The main ballroom floor is in the non-training gym, which has been cleared and decorated for the occasion. The music is being piped in from the music car, where it's still playing for those who would prefer a more intimate and private setting. Meanwhile, the game room has been set out for the kids who would otherwise be left out of this adult and near-adult event.

"Yep," Cassie says. "And extroverts should respect that about you. I'm glad you're here, but I'd never want to force you to stay here or anything like that."

"Most of them do." Senku hummed. He has no complaints about how he's treated by most people anyway.

"I'm still good, don't worry." He smiled. "Takes more than that to chase me off anyway."

"Good," Cassie says. "Kinda my job to make sure no one's having a miserable time."

He chuckled with amusement. "Then you're doing a fine job of it. Everyone certainly looks like they're having fun." Which, meant to him they probably were. "It's a nice party, as far as parties go."

"I'm Beverly Hills born and raised," Cassie says. "So I've learned from the best in my time."

"Is that a reference I don't understand?" Senku asked, looking at Cassie curiously.

"Not really," Cassie says. "Just means I grew up around a lot of parties. Especially fancy ones thrown by people who wanted to show off."

He chuckled. "So that's a yes." He shrugged.

"Parties huh...I had to go to a couple of those. By which I mean two before I told my dad he can do that shit himself." He waved his hand. He'd probably said it exactly like that too.

"Good people to talk to, but way too busy and noisy for my taste."

"To be honest, I probably wouldn't have much fun hanging out with the people I used to go to parties with anymore," Cassie says. "My life's gone a different way from them. Joined the Army, now I have real shit to worry about."

"Huh, if I had gone to parties back then..." He considered. "No, can't even see it." He chuckled.

"But I can tell you there's no way any of my friends would've dragged me to something like this." He tsked lightly. "Huh. It appears as though Gen has much more pull than I realized." He wasn't complaining.

Cassie chuckles. "That can happen."
