3 Kazoo - Adult Ballroom Social and Epic Kids' Game Night

What: The much-awaited-and-discussed Adult Ballroom Social (and children's side event)

You've seen the flyers. You've heard the announcements. You've ordered additional party reinforcements if you wanted them. Some of you have even helped her to prepare. And now it's finally here - the Adult Ballroom Social that she's been planning these many, many week-and-a-half.

But you wouldn't know it only took that long to throw it together. She's gone all out for this one. Including the wardrobe that's been opened up, there are four cars that have been set aside for tonight. The main ballroom floor is in the non-training gym, which has been cleared and decorated for the occasion. The music is being piped in from the music car, where it's still playing for those who would prefer a more intimate and private setting. Meanwhile, the game room has been set out for the kids who would otherwise be left out of this adult and near-adult event.

"Yeah that can be rough... And...it makes sense. I suppose this is a great gift for others. A second chance. Definitely a chance to get out there. I wouldn't like to be trapped here forever." What a horrifying future that would be.

She tried not to think about it.

"But, I'm sure I'll manage to get home somehow. Sooner if I can figure out how to build a transdimensional gateway. Shouldn't be too hard, right?"

[helborn]

He laughed a little bit. "We'll see. If I can manage to find a spot in the Void that's thin enough I might be able to break through to Liminal Space again. From there, I should be able to jump to worlds if I can sniff them out. ... Not necessarily literally." But sometimes.

[famtastic]

"You can do that? Literally jump to worlds? Oh that's brilliant." She grinned. "Take me with you. I want to see how it works! Is that something you picked up here or were you born with it?"

[helborn]

"Oh, not here. I was in a world between worlds before here, and I picked it up there. The space here is less... malleable than what I'm used to."

[famtastic]

"Well that's not bad...even if you're...you know... confined." She looked around. "Not a bad place to be stuck if you have to be."

[helborn]

"Yeah, no, I've been to way worse worlds. This one's just fine by comparison." At least there's sufficient food, for one.

[famtastic]

"Yeah it's fine. I'll be great here for a while. Not so much when the itching to go off on my own sets in but that's what other worlds are for, yeah? To just explore and do what you want."
