3 Kazoo - Adult Ballroom Social and Epic Kids' Game Night

You've seen the flyers. You've heard the announcements. You've ordered additional party reinforcements if you wanted them. Some of you have even helped her to prepare. And now it's finally here - the Adult Ballroom Social that she's been planning these many, many week-and-a-half.

But you wouldn't know it only took that long to throw it together. She's gone all out for this one. Including the wardrobe that's been opened up, there are four cars that have been set aside for tonight. The main ballroom floor is in the non-training gym, which has been cleared and decorated for the occasion. The music is being piped in from the music car, where it's still playing for those who would prefer a more intimate and private setting. Meanwhile, the game room has been set out for the kids who would otherwise be left out of this adult and near-adult event.

"Whaaat? Even in a quiet car? With me?" Koumyou grabs onto Devero's hips for an anchor and leans backwards to whine dramatically up at the ceiling, "Deeeev-chaaaaaan..."

There's the full Koumyou Sanzo whine, and zero fucks given about who sees or hears him being embarrassing.

There he goes. That sure is a whole-ass theatrical whine, isn't it? Devero watches him with arched eyebrows-- the only person he's embarrassing is himself, after all. When Koumyou's voice finally trails off, he purses his lips and rubs his chin in an exaggerated moue of thoughtfulness.

"I suppose, if I was offered the right incentive, I could be convinced," he intones, his sparkling eyes belying the solemnity of his words.

Good thing for Koumyou he's absolutely shameless and impossible to embarrass in this particular fashion. Otherwise he'd have a great deal less fun! But how willing to play with him Devero is, is something that impressed him at their very first meeting and continues to impress him today.

Speaking of, Devero's behavior has Koumyou smiling before the big guy even speaks up.

"...And what might that be, my devious, darling Devero? If I really have as many charms as you say, one might almost expect my company to be enough."

"Ah, but I can have your company any time, can't I? Without having to embarrass myself by singing for it." He wags a finger in front of Koumyou's face, before booping him on the nose with it. "No, I think I'd need a generous stipend of smooches to be convinced to do karaoke with you, even in private."

Thusly booped, Koumyou actually 'tries' to bite at Devero's finger.

"But you can have those any time too, Dev-chan!"

If scarcity is the key, here!

Devero snatches it away with a delighted laugh. He puts that fingertip to his own lips again. "Hmm. Good point. I guess you'll just have to think up something else that suitably incentivizing, then, won't you?"

"Hmmmm," Koumyou imitates his posture, tapping his lips while he thinks real hard about this very serious conundrum.

Patient as a stone, Devero settles in to wait. He wants to see what his clever, endlessly surprising priest comes up with.

"I suppose I can..." draw this out for dramatic effect, is what he can do, all part of the fun!

"I suppose I can promise to sing you a really sappy love song, once we're done warbling together for fun?"

Don't you want to be serenaded, Devero?

"Yesss~?" Devero prompts, aware of the call-and-response rhythm of this particular game.

When Koumyou finally make his offer, Devero smiles down at him, radiating affection. "Now that's an offer I can't refuse."

"It's a deal, then!" And Koumyou throws his arms dramatically around Devero's shoulders, leaning in and up for a chaste -- but happy -- smooch.
