What: For today the garden carriage is turned into a place to get creative.
Warnings: There's cakes. And glitter.

Whether or not you heard Romeo and Madoka's announcement, you'll know about it, unless you avoid the garden carriage somehow for the entire day (and then from then on). The changes are simple, but hopefully something to be built on: an outline made in gold paint that takes the shape of a tree with large curling branches that greets the viewer from the longer width of wall, and a fishing net draped down the length of wall by the nearest entrance, with strings hanging off it for decorations to be added to. Posters seem to be all over the carriage, carrying messages in a childish yet neat handwriting, like "Are you having a fun day? Please vote art so we can have do lots more art together!"

Small sitting pillows have been placed around so people aren't sitting on the bed of stones, and the statues once there moved to other parts of the 'garden', leaving them with sounds of the running water to keep them company.

So, just what is there to do?

THE CRAFTS;

The group have done their best to get as many art supplies as possible, with two trunks taken from the luggage car, and filled as tidily as possible. Inside one is a variety of papers, from tissue to cardboard, decorated and plain, some that's shiny, and even the kind for origami. There's also some sketchpads set out to the side, for any larger projects.

And in the net trunk is all the rest you'd expect: the fun supplies. Paints, inks, glue, glitter, threads, ribbons, and wooden beads, and even scissors are set inside. Some of those paints? Why, they're even shiny paints, and plenty of them. There are books too, at different crafting levels. From how to make paper cranes, butterflies, flower garlands, and whatever else you might imagine. How about a tree with stars?

Pretend what you want's inside them, and have fun.

Or perhaps you brought your own craft along to the carriage. Whether it's knitting, sewing or anything else creative you'd like to do, there's definitely a place for that as well! It's like there are spots in the carriage that have been left intentionally empty for people to sit down with their own tools and work.

MEMORY WALL;

Very, very simple folded animals have been put on the corners of where the netting is displayed, stretched out to make the most of the hanging that the netting provides (you have to get creative with what you can buy).

Looking it over, there's already what seems to be names on cards, placed around different parts of the netting. Perhaps you may recognize some of the names as people who have been on the train before, but have since left.

CAKE;

Of course there's cake. How else would they tempt people to come and sit down? There's one large cake made out of rainbow and sprinkles, and then a collection of cupcakes, all a mix of colours and whatever shakeable edibles has been decided to be plopped on top.

There's also a few plates of simple yet sweet biscuits cut into a variety of shapes (cat heads, dogs, dinosaurs, and even...a train), some with light icing, some not. The quality is about what you'd expect from some kids having fun in the kitchen, and the recipes are simple for it. Don't worry; you might have glitter and sprinkles dropping onto your lap with whatever you pick up, but the shakers were about all anyone went wild with in the kitchen than the baking.

Mami's helped to bring along refreshments in offering different flavours of tea, and there's even a few flavours of coffee to pick from too.

So grab a cuppa, a piece of cake, and have fun pretending you're five and in art class again and create a masterpiece.

Or even show others how to.

Not at all! Sometimes she's tougher than they are! She's so obsessed with our Uncle's adventures, and knows all about weaponry. Really, she reminds me of myself when I was that age. If she didn't have a grandma, I think I'd have adopted her myself.

[ Della speaks with genuine love and warmth - she truly does love little Webby as if she was one of her own. ]

Wow, she sounds so brave then! [ Especially if she's as young as Della's kids - she can't be that old then, right? Probably even a little younger than Madoka, or around her age.. ]

I couldn't even imagine going on adventures like that! I think I would've been way too scared..

[ Even if the train kind of forced her into adventures now. ]

It's not for everyone, but for us of the McDuck clan? It's what we live for! And Uncle Scrooge considers just about everyone who lives with him and works with him part of the clan.

[ Madoka thinks about her own parents, back home. She'd say her mother is super brave, and her father.. well, she's never seen him scared, so he probably is brave too.

But Madoka, in comparison..?

.. well, she's glad Della does have kids who can live up to that. ]

You must be really proud of your children.

[ Della is always more than happy to brag about her babies, but... something about Madoka's face gives her pause.

Mom mode on. ]

... You know, being brave doesn't mean not being scared.

[ Uh roh.

Ruh roh.

Madoka is starting to sense that this is slowly becoming about her with the way Della picks up on her thoughts, so she quickly shakes her head. ]

Oh-- of course! [ QUICK, TIME FOR A DIVERSION. DISTRACT HER, MADOKA. You can do it!! ] But it's still a really amazing brave thing to go on adventures like that when you're so young! Or, um, want to..

[ She's not sure if they really went along on adventures or not, just going off Della's wording. ]

They'd probably find seeing all the different worlds this train stops at fun, huh? [ LET'S GO, THIS IS NO LONGER ABOUT HER. ]

[ Let her mom you!!!! ]

Well, sure. They'd find it pretty fun. But they'd also want a break from it, too. Life can't all be adventures and journeys... It gets exhausting. So it's why when stuff like this happens, we need to be super grateful to the people who make it happen.

[ take the compliment!!! ]

I think you may be trying to say something, Della..

[ She sees that compliment. But at least that one is a little easier to deal with than the previous topic. At least this isn't about her insecurities, even though accepting compliments is still Hard for Madoka. But she's trying! ]

I'm just glad everyone seems to be enjoying it! And, um.. other people worked really hard for this too, like Romeo. And Tidus helped us buy a lot of the art supplies! [ That boy is forever the train's sugar daddy. ]

Tidus did? Aw, that big sweetheart. He's getting such a noogie when I see him... maybe even a glitter-filled one.

[ A momentary distraction, but she will get you to love yourself more, baby!!! ]

[ Madoka smiles. ]

Yes, please make sure to reward Tidus for his efforts! [ .. apparently Madoka does consider a noogie a reward, huh. But she knows that Della does everything she does in a loving way! ]

He's so nice, he really deserves to get thanks and compliments from everyone here on the train.

Yeah, but watch, he'll deflect and say it was no big deal.

[ Much like the little girl in front of her, no big shock. ]

Oh.. [ Madoka seems to think about it for a moment, but then the girl slowly nods. ]

Tidus is kind of like that, isn't he..

[ It seems that she's only realising so now it's being pointed out to her though. ]

Even though he's always so busy helping out other people, it's like he doesn't want to put himself in the spotlight. [ That does sound like someone else here.. ]

He's a good guy... Honestly? The train is full of so many good people. It's really amazing, and I feel a little honored to be among them.

[ That, at the very least, makes Madoka smile a little. It's just true. It's like Della took the words straight out of her own mouth. ]

It's really something to be surrounded by so many amazing people, right? It's like you're at the Olympics.. except instead of the best sporters, it's like you're surrounded by the best heroes from all over the place.

It's slowly dawning upon her what's happening here. Very slowly. But then one can see the realisation on Madoka's face, right as she starts sputtering. ]

N-No, I meant I'm the one surrounded by people like that! Miss Della, you're an amazing adventurer, so you totally belong with those amazing heroes! [ Look, she won't even.. fully exclude herself here..

But she has to, at the very least, include Della. ]

[ Della gives Madoka an exasperated look...

... But then hugs her. She can't FORCE Madoka to look at herself better, but she can remind Madoka she will always be cared for. ]
