Who: Xehanort, various assorted others
Where: Multiple Locations
When: Llama 21
What: Pools, rocks, gyms.
Warnings: None as yet, will alter as needed
Training Gym
With nobody else in the training car for the last little while, Xehanort's been keeping himself occupied.
Which means he's made himself an obstacle course, one that includes the swing-out climbing apparatus, a springboard, two training dummies and mats being used for things besides being on the floor for falling. It's an ongoing project apparently, because he's STILL digging out pieces and moving them around, currently stopped with a large block at his side, scrutinizing his creation with a frown.
It's going to have go somewhere, nothing looks complete yet, and there's even more supplies still stacked up everywhere that surely can be added to it!
Rock Garden
His potted geraniums are still sitting there, by the fountain, in defiance of it being a ROCK garden. And he's returned again, this time with multiple books and a notepad, and the bench he's chosen is positioned such where he can keep a weather eye on both entrances.
The last time he tried a quiet room for quiet it hadn't actually worked out, so he's trying again, neatly setting out notes and reopening books and re-organizing what had wound up a failed mess. It's not what the garden car is FOR, but relaxing and quiet was relaxing and quiet, even if he brought a pile of books with him, surely.
Spa
After dinner at some point, Xehanort discovers .... a pool. Well sort of a pool, it seems to be heated, and most of it really did look like a place to only and specifically, relax. It takes him a little while to figure out how to get the ICP to randomize its playlist, find a towel, find swim trunks that fit, and then!
And then he's going for a not-swim, wading around until he finds a tier that actually is comfortably deep enough to submerge most of himself in before settling down.
It's.. comfortable. Unlike the beds, unlike 95% of the train, it actually felt like relaxation is possible here.

Spa
The... already occupied ones. Hm.
"... Is it okay if I come in?"

Well he could but it wouldn't be polite. Which means when Ken speaks up, one hand rises briefly out of the water with a slight beckoning gesture.
"Might as well while you can, more people are likely to come eventually and then it'll be crowded." Two isn't bad. Five or six will be annoying. "But I won't be playing, if you've brought pool toys. It's been a long day."
There are, as yet, no pool toys, but that didn't mean there wouldn't be a six foot brightly colored foam noodle out of nowhere at any moment.

The remark about playing just gets Xehanort a brief stink-eye as he slips into the water. "It's not big enough to use pool toys here, even if I had any. I was training, I was coming here to soak." Which he is doing right now, though he has to fold his legs under himself on the underwater seat in order to keep his head above water.
Hm. ... Wait, is this the guy? He matches the picture Ken looked up... maybe better to not let on that he knows anything just yet. "You're new, aren't you?"

"Mm." That's not exactly a yes, but it might as well be. "A few days."
no subject
"I've been here for about two months." Geez, has it been that long already? "But there's people who have been here a lot longer than me... I know my team's leader has been here a really long time."
no subject
And here's a boy that is likely completely without adult supervision, dragged along for. What? "It must be quite the adventure, all of this."
no subject
"I'm not used to fighting alongside this many people. There's only four other people on my team."

"Need any help?"
no subject
"Hello." He studies his current block, and all the other ones he's been messing with, frowning. Did he need help? Not at all. "... If you'd like. I don't have a goal in mind especially, except for using up everything available."
ALL OF IT. He's making good headway.

Her imagination is already running away...

Not even a little bit! After a moment he picks up his block and heads a little further into the car, looking for somewhere to put it. "Though hopefully nobody will want to come in and .. use just one bit of it, I'm not sure how that'll work."

A home is found for it, in a spot that looks like it might be particularly awkward to get to. "I think I'd like some hanging ropes, but ... I don't see anything to tie them to. Or ropes. ...You haven't by chance spotted any have you?"

Boy it sure does.
Rock Garden
While this is not one hundred percent accurate, the fact remains that he is not going to use either of the entrances to the rock garden, but appear in the now-familiar cloud of darkness. A mildly different flavor perhaps if one wants to split hairs- a direct teleport rather than a stable portal which would permit others to follow or precede.
Yet it serves the same purpose.
Time has passed since their late night discussion. More importantly matters finally came to a head. There were other matters to see to and investigate and thus time was afforded between the aftermath and this moment.
But the timing is undoubtedly not a coincidence. Elidibus did not wait too long before making his appearance. And the rock garden seemed a fitting place as any once Xehanort had settled himself.
"I trust you have physically recovered from your ordeal?"
Elidibus does not move to join the young researcher on the bench. Whether this is to wait and see if he's even welcome or to impart the serious nature of his visit remains unspoken. His words do suggest some knowledge that matters were not as pleasant as a 'discussion'.
no subject
Happily no such thing happens.
The question though, draws a lengthy silence as he weighs exactly which part was meant. "I haven't seen a doctor yet. I assume so." He also didn't intend to see a doctor. "I would prefer it not being discussed too openly, and wonder how you know to begin with."
He wasn't awake for that announcement!!
no subject
He will keep private matters private. But Elidibus makes no promise not to speak about it at all to those who do know.
"Your King made an urgent call through the train's public system for the one you call Even," he adds, to detail the specific reason he had an inkling of events. "I chose to observe what I could." Small hints, bread crumb clues pieced together.
"Whilst you recovered, I spoke with your King to gain his measure. Though he would not impart details without your express permission, I was able to glean some idea of what occurred."
no subject
Which of course came with the implicit request for permission, as far as Xehanort can tell, and he's ... reluctant to do so. He still didn't know what to do about the entire situation, or what followed it, though at least the headache had finally ebbed away and allowed him to even TRY to think.
He studies the cover of the book he'd intended to fish a page out of, weighing. "Have you come to say you were right? I will note you are still in error, he did not act out of a lack of objectivity at all at first. Quite the opposite. ... On the results afterwards, perhaps.." But not the first lethal choice.
no subject
"I merely offered what was possibility, knowing little of your King. Great men have been swayed by base emotions in the past. They will do so in the future. That objectivity is present does not need exclude the bias of emotion."
There is a pause while Elidibus draws upon what he has thus far learned of Ansem from his personal encounter.
"Whatever emotions have may have been present to tip or stay his hand, he appears to believe he acted for the betterment of all. But I remain uncertain if he has accepted the influence of his emotions upon those choices."
A case in point, Xehanort is still alive without the train's intervention.
Spending a moment with his eyes closed in thought, Elidibus opens them once again to focus on Xehanort. "Will it trouble you to speak on what occurred? I would desire your insight on the events."
no subject
"He did act for the betterment of all. At first. The decision to forestall sentence is.. less... for the betterment of all." He knows what the future holds, if not in the sort of excruciating detail he'd like. Kingdom Hearts simply wasn't enough of a motivator, without more pertinent information, to explain why he'd throw away everything for it.
Given how much Elidibus already knows, denying more questions seemed.. improper.
But there is a brief wry twist of lips at the question. "It will indeed." But he's already troubled, so what would that change? "What are you already aware of?"

wildcard their cabin since I missed you at platform
Point zero: One of the upper beds (the one not occupied by Romeo) has a sort of privacy curtain of flowering vines decorating it.
Point one: These are actual living plants, and as such, they need to be watered. There's a pan for this tucked up into the storage cubby, but -
Point two: Cats love flowing water, and also for some reason water that is a little bit grody and algae-filled. And the roommate who sleeps in that bed has recently acquired a very large black cat.
As a result: There is currently a minor comedy of errors taking place in the top bunk of Ghost trying to fill the plants' water dish without Rory drinking all of the water in question. This is made slightly easier by the use of telekinesis to manipulate the water pitcher used to fill the pan, but only slightly. She is, after all, quite a bit of cat, and Ghost is not a lot of person.
"Rory, sweetheart, would it kill you to drink out of your own water?" The words are mostly directed to the cat, and have the slight robotic edge of a speech synthesizer. The cat in question responds by squirming, her huge fluffy tail lashing slightly in displeasure.
no subject
He's tired, it's been a long day and an absolutely wretchedly miserable week, full of pain and unpleasantness and betrayal and almost-death, and in spite of his unsettled certainty he won't actually wake up again sleep is important! So he had planned on getting some rest, but..
"...Do you ... need some assistance?"
but there seems to be a small problem, and he's fairly certain rest isn't going to happen until it's sorted out.
no subject
"She won't bite or claw unless you pinch her, she just loves the plant water," he explains, holding Rory out a little with her butt still supported by the mattress. "Are you familiar with cats?"
Because, hey, you never know on a train like this.
no subject
And if no such warning comes, without much hesitation, the fluffy creature is simply scooped up and set against one shoulder as one might a small child, backside held in arms. Her own four legs will have plenty to brace against, mostly his shoulder and stomach.. so if she chooses to kick up a fuss, it's not going to go well at all for Xehanort.
"Though I've not had a pet, there's always been a cat or two around. Does she stay on your cot with you?"
no subject
"For the most part, yeah," Ghost says. "She knows how to go and use the bathroom by herself, though, so if you happen to notice her locked out at any point and can let her back in, I'd appreciate it. I figured 'a cat that's toilet-trained' would make everyone a lot happier than trying to manage a litterbox in here."
As he 'talks,' Ghost leans over into the back corner of his bunk's storage space. There's the sound of the rest of the water pouring before he resets the lid that usually covers the roots of his plant and then piles some of the rest of his stuff on top of it so that Rory doesn't just immediately knock the cover off again. "There we go."
