What: Danny recently mentioned that it had been a long time since he'd developed any new powers. He should really know better by now.


Danny yawns as he rummages through the kitchen. There had to be something here that was easy to make.

He mutters under his breath as he turns to search the next cabinet. He is a little too out of it to notice as his hands glow green, and the cabinet also glows green and opens before he touches it. He makes a face at the cabinet.

"Oh come on, there has to be something here better than toast."

Razzy is a little more used to early morning wake ups. Early enough to get Gabriel a short walk before heading to breakfast and seeing Danny.

Who seemed to be....

Struggling.

But also moving things without touching and she gasps. "We get telekinesis?!"

"Telekinesis?" Danny repeats with a frown. "What are you-" and that's when he notices the energy still wrapping around his hands and the cabinet door. He lets out a surprised noise as it vanishes and the door slams shut.

"...A new power?"

"Its new? You've really not done that before?" She asked, moving over to take a look at the cabinets.

He shakes his head as he inspects his hands.

"I don't think I have?" Although considering the sheer number of ghosts he knew who had this power, maybe he should have expected it.

He groans. "And I was just starting to think that maybe I was done with developing new powers. Its been over a year since I got my ice."

"Well, have you been fighting as much on the train as you did in Amity Park?" Razzy asked. Amity Park DID seem to have a lot of ghosts making trouble according to the news.

"Nowhere near," he admits. "In Amity Park I was fighting pretty much every day. And night. Here its more like a couple days of fighting every other month."

"That's probably why then. Can't push past your limits if you're not hitting them enough," she said. "But telekinesis! That's a cool one. You could do so much with that."

"That probably explains it, then. Though now I'm wondering how many more powers I'd have by now if I was still back there."

A grin. "You know what? You have a point. I can already think of a few uses for this. And who knows, you might get this one next." He makes a face. "But I'm betting that getting this under control is going to be a pain."

"Probably a few. Depending how strong the ghosts are," she said. "I think hitting a limit is important. I never got things in Sabra except the ice, and that was thanks to an item. But my limit was artificially capped so even if I hit it a lot....my body wasn't getting what it needed," she said, rubbing her chin.

"Makes sense. Basic ghost power, and I had the 'potential for ice,'" she said with finger quotes. "We could always go practice."

"The more you tell me about Sabra, the worse it sounds. Are you sure you're okay now?"

Danny was just going to worry a bit more.

"That's the plan," he says with a sigh.

"Of course I'm okay now. Amestris is a lot nicer. And so are the worlds I visit, always have a friendly face on the other end," she said, picking up Gabriel, scratching him behind the ears. "Most people went to Sabra to make their circumstances better, so most places are better then they were even."

"Ever tried mediation? This seems like a mediation power."

"Lots of it." He shrugs."I've been training a lot with Raven, and that was her idea for getting better control. I guess its worth a try for this."

His frown hasn't gone away yet, but he relaxes a little. "If you're sure, then."

He was going to keep worrying some. Overprotectiveness was a Fenton trait, after all.

"It can do a lot. It helps with energy moderation and telekinesis is just wrapping your energy around stuff," she said. "Gets you intune with how it moves inside you and get intune with it outside."

"If it helps, Sabra isn't around anymore? It was a dying world before we got there, and we put it to rest when we left. Everyone alive got out, trapped dead souls were freed, and the people who wanted to hurt us was taken care of before that except for one, but she owes me her life and there are others who are trying to help her be a better person," she said, looking at the chrome of the sink with a slightly distant look. "I really hope she takes their help to heart. Because the forgiveness wasn't easy."

A sigh. "More meditation practice for me, than."

He nods. "That is good to know. You know me. I just don't like knowing you were out there dealing with all of that, and I had no idea. If you'd needed help, I wouldn't have even known."
