What: Danny recently mentioned that it had been a long time since he'd developed any new powers. He should really know better by now.

Danny yawns as he rummages through the kitchen. There had to be something here that was easy to make.

He mutters under his breath as he turns to search the next cabinet. He is a little too out of it to notice as his hands glow green, and the cabinet also glows green and opens before he touches it. He makes a face at the cabinet.

"Oh come on, there has to be something here better than toast."

Quatre happened to be wandering into the kitchen that morning, still trying to wake up. Tea, he definitely needed some tea. That would help with waking up.

But as he walked into the kitchen, he stopped in shock. Well, now he was completely awake.

"Are you alright?"

A half asleep Danny was not an observant Danny. He'd completely missed noticing the entire thing. He turns to stare at the new arrival with confusion as he takes the bread out of the cabinet.

"Uh... Well, I'm not a big fan of toast? But I guess its still better than the ingredient of the month?"

"No, I mean that... your hands were glowing green. And the cabinets were as well?"

He had never seen that happen before, but after he states this he realized...

"Is this normal for you?"

Danny turns and stares as the green energy gutters out around his hands.

"Well, me and normal don't usually go together.But this is new. I think... Is this a new power?" He hits his forehead with the back of his hand. "Its totally a new power. Great. More training."

"Oh... I see." Quatre watched for a moment. Well, it was good to know that he normally had something like this happen that he wasn't even surprised by it. "Ah, so then I suspect you aren't sure what it does then."

"Actually I have a decent idea. I've seen other ghosts use this before. I just never had the ability before." He pauses. "And now I feel kind of dumb. I really should have expected this to show up sooner or later. If the Box Ghost can have this power, of course I'd get it."

He sighs.

"Its ghost telekinesis. I should be able to use it to make things float and move."

"Oh, telekinesis. Interesting. Ghost telekinesis is different than normal?"

Also he is really curious about the Box Ghost, but one question at a time.

"I wouldn't know. Ghosts are the only people with powers in my world. SO its ghost telekinesis because it uses ghost energy."

"Oh. That makes sense then. I just didn't know if there was a difference, but yeah, understandable that it is called that if ghosts use it."

And now he's going to ask the other question. "Forgive my curiosity. But I was wondering about the Box Ghost."

Razzy is a little more used to early morning wake ups. Early enough to get Gabriel a short walk before heading to breakfast and seeing Danny.

Who seemed to be....

Struggling.

But also moving things without touching and she gasps. "We get telekinesis?!"

"Telekinesis?" Danny repeats with a frown. "What are you-" and that's when he notices the energy still wrapping around his hands and the cabinet door. He lets out a surprised noise as it vanishes and the door slams shut.

"...A new power?"

"Its new? You've really not done that before?" She asked, moving over to take a look at the cabinets.

He shakes his head as he inspects his hands.

"I don't think I have?" Although considering the sheer number of ghosts he knew who had this power, maybe he should have expected it.

He groans. "And I was just starting to think that maybe I was done with developing new powers. Its been over a year since I got my ice."

"Well, have you been fighting as much on the train as you did in Amity Park?" Razzy asked. Amity Park DID seem to have a lot of ghosts making trouble according to the news.

"Nowhere near," he admits. "In Amity Park I was fighting pretty much every day. And night. Here its more like a couple days of fighting every other month."

"That's probably why then. Can't push past your limits if you're not hitting them enough," she said. "But telekinesis! That's a cool one. You could do so much with that."

"That probably explains it, then. Though now I'm wondering how many more powers I'd have by now if I was still back there."

A grin. "You know what? You have a point. I can already think of a few uses for this. And who knows, you might get this one next." He makes a face. "But I'm betting that getting this under control is going to be a pain."

The thing about living with Jedi is that you stop registering doors opening and closing without being touched as strange.

Green glowing, slightly stranger, but still. Apparently they'd tempted the universe in that last conversation. "I didn't know you could do that."

"I couldn't do it until now." His tone was a mix of pleased surprise at getting another new power, and annoyance at having yet another new power to figure out how to use.

"Maybe we should have seen this coming." That's just the kind of thing that leads to a new power developing within days. "It's a useful one though."

"I definitely should have seen this coming. You'd think I'd catch on by now."

Okay, complaining over.

"It could be, I guess. But first I have to figure out how not to activate it accidentally."

"What does it feel like when it starts?" That seems like the place to start figuring out how to prevent accidental activation.

"It kind of feels the same as my other powers. And, well, I guess its just a different part of my ghost powers, so it makes sense it would feel the same."

"Did those all just happen without you controlling it when you first got them?" The only experience she has with this is the recent appearance of her Diagad powers so it's hard to really be sure about anything.

"Pretty much. I spent the first month after I got my powers just kind of randomly having parts of myself go intangible or invisible. Total nightmare, considering I also had to try and keep anyone from figuring out there was anything wrong."
