What: Danny recently mentioned that it had been a long time since he'd developed any new powers. He should really know better by now.


Danny yawns as he rummages through the kitchen. There had to be something here that was easy to make.

He mutters under his breath as he turns to search the next cabinet. He is a little too out of it to notice as his hands glow green, and the cabinet also glows green and opens before he touches it. He makes a face at the cabinet.

"Oh come on, there has to be something here better than toast."

"Pretty much. I spent the first month after I got my powers just kind of randomly having parts of myself go intangible or invisible. Total nightmare, considering I also had to try and keep anyone from figuring out there was anything wrong."

"That's one thing that's not an issue here at least. Everyone seems to be developing new powers lately." Even she's done it and that just isn't something that happens to her. "It's too bad we don't have any Jedi currently, they might actually be able to help yo with the specifics on this one."

"They can move objects around?"

"It's one of the most obvious things they can do." Faster reaction time? That could just be fast. It's hard to play off telekinesis as anything else. "It's saved our lives more than a few times."

"....Huh. Got any tips for how to make this useful? Most of the ghosts I've seen just use it to throw stuff at people. Mostly me."

"There's something to be said for throwing things." It does have certain uses in combat. "Or for getting things off high shelves."

"You can also use it to catch things. Especially things that are about to fall on people." She smiles fondly at that. THat was the first time she realized what Kanan must be all those years ago

"That could be useful," he says, thinking of all the times he'd had to dive to turn someone intangible before something fell on them. "The shelves thing too."

"Never underestimate the shelf thing." She pauses. Practical considerations. "It's also useful for things that are on shelves because someone doesn't want you to have them."

Danny's old enough to probably not jump to cookiee jars. They sometimes need things other people don't want them to have on missions.

"Well, I usually just float up if that happens." It had been a while now since out of reach was a problem.

"Well, it's good to have options. Sometimes floating the object is a little less noticeable." Still not subtle, but it's another tool in the toolbox.

"I suppose getting at things on the other side of walls is less important if you can go through those walls."

A short laugh. "Pretty much. And if I can't get through a wall, I usually have a lot of other problems."

That sounds like it would definitely be a problem. Any time a power stops working is usually cause to pause and consider. "There's also throwing things from more than one angle."

"That's a good point. That's super annoying to fight." He snickers. "I'd love to see their faces if I turned it back on them."

"I'm sure the Jedi would tell you not to seek revenge." She smirks. "But I'm not a Jedi and that sort of payback is different."

"Why not? Sometimes petty, harmless, revenge is the best motivator."
