Days Going Forward? [Open]

Who: Nozomi Yumehara and YOU [open]

What: Nozomi doing random things through the first few days.

Nozomi sighed a little as she made her way through the train. With Hera now in her room, she was more than certain that her lazy days were coming to a quicker end. She shouldn't fret, though - it's just that she cares, right? Right! So, Nozomi's going to focus on other things!

Kitchen

If Nozomi was correct, hitting their next stop meant that it was time for her date with Kairi! But, wait, was she going to cook or did she want her to? Oh, she wished she had got that all settled before today! No matter, she'll head for the kitchen to make dessert! She'd been working on making cakes for awhile, so why not a cake to celebrate the day?

So, Nozomi's going to do just that, getting the ingredients needed to make the cake... hopefully Kairi won't show up?

Lab carriage

Nozomi wasn't a scientist. She wasn't even a magical scientist. But, she wanted to do something to help herself and the others out. She happened to find Entrapta's old notes as well as the CureMo she lent her all that time ago. The notes? Couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Thus, she took the spare CureMo and began to fiddle with it. She wasn't like Usagi, but darn it, she was going to make herself useful here, seeing what she could do.

Caution: magical girl at work.

Greenhouse

All that work deserves a little bit of a break. Thus, Nozomi decided to retreat towards the greenhouse. She's found out long ago that being with nature was actually quite calming. It was actually quite fun.

Thus, Nozomi decided to return here and let her nature powers take over, allowing the plants around her surround her as some sort of protective blanket. It actually felt cooler being wrapped up, but maybe that's because of where she had been.

Kairi had been trying to practice with her new powers of summoning fruit and currently she had a good number of them. Mostly strawberries. So Kairi hatched a plan to make something with them.

So making her way, strawberries in hand she seemed happy, soon stopping as soon as she entered the carriage and saw a familiar face.

"Oh hey, using the kitchen?"

“Kairi!” Nozomi chirped out, smiling widely. “I, uh, was planning to, but I can step away for you!”

She blushed as she grinned sheepishly. She could step back. Anything for her.

"It's fine. I will ask if you can make anything with strawberries. Been practicing my fruit summoning and so...lots of them." She asked as she went to put the fruit of her labour down on the counter or at least the fruits of her practicing anyway.

“Oh, I can work with that!” Nozomi said, nodding. “I was working on a cake, but maybe pastries?”

“Or we could make strawberry filling for the cake!”

"Or both is possible. There should maybe be enough." She looked at the amount for a moment a smile passing by her lips.

"Though how does one make filling for a cake with fresh fruit?"

“Oh, that’s a good question. We… might have to squash them?” Nozomi said.

“Might be messy and a waste if it doesn’t work…”

"I don't think it would be that hard to do and it's fine. People make mistakes. You just try again. So maybe try with a small amount if you are worried about that." At least in her mind people will of course make mistakes so even if it might be messy and a waste, how else would one learn without trying.

So Kairi decided she would be that person to take the first step as she went to take some of what she had and went to find a bowl.

"Well, then, let's give it a go!" Nozomi said, before noticing Kairi was already on her way to find a bowl to make their little mess.

She was soon back placing the bowl down before looking over at the fruit that was before them.

"So how ay do you want to try with first?"

Nell had come in to check on some of her plants when she noticed Nozomi and her plant blanket. She couldn't help but giggle. "I ain't never seen anything like that before."

Nozomi blinked before giggling herself. “Silly idea, I know. I wanted to relax a bit. Did I interrupt you?”

"Oh no," Nell said quickly, "If anything, I'm interrupting you. I just wanted to check on some of my plants. You look awful cozy there."

“It really is cozy in here.” Nozomi admitted. “Would you like to join me? After you tend to the plants, first.”

"Hmm..." Nell said consideringly. "It does look awful nice. I think maybe I will, since you'un offered and all. Like a little green hiding place."

“Great!” Nozomi replied, smiling widely. “You do what you need and I’ll be waiting!”

Nell puttered around checking on her plants - more briefly than she might usually. She'd never really had much in the way of friends before, so she wanted to enjoy what she could while she was here.

"All set," she said finally, settling down near Nozomi. "Show me how you did that."

“Of course! Now, let’s see…” Nozomi said. Slowly, the plants and grass started to unfurl, showing that the plants were urged to grow and encircle Nozomi, less of a bind and more of like a sleeping bag.

“Just think of it as covering yourself as a blanket…”

Nell listened to the plants as Nozomi moved them ad smiled. "Okay, I can hear how that works." She carefully encouraged those nearest her to surround her gently as well, putting some in place to serve as a kind of pillow.

"Oh, this is very nice!"

“Amazing!” Nozomi cheered. “It’s been trial and error for me, but you got it down easy! Guess you are my superior in that!”

She giggled as she added “Too bad the train won’t let us sleep in here.”

"Well, I have been working with plants longer than you'un," Nell pointed out, "But you're already thinking of things I never did."

Nell looked at her curiously. She had always gone to sleep in her own bed at a reasonable hour. "What so you mean that the train won't let us?"

“Well, the train makes us go to sleep at a certain time and we all wind up back in the cabins no matter what.” Nozomi said. “We could try sleeping in here together, but the train’s force us separate and in the cabins.”

"Oh my," Nell said. "I guess I always just turn in fairly early. And in my own bed of course. I wonder why the train does that?"

She'd have to make a point of never being caught out too late so the train didn't snatch her back away to her room. That just seemed a bit creepy.

“I wish I knew.” Nozomi admitted. “It really is creepy, to be honest.”

"I was just thinkin' that," Nell said. "Why should it care where we sleep? And how does it move people? Do you think it moves yu if you stay up all night somewhere other than your room?"

Nozomi shivered at that thought. "It... it might..." If it was moving them, who was it?
