Tickets Please
"Good Morning Passengers, today is day twenty five of the month of Bassoon." Waking up in their beds as always to the announcement passengers will feel a little strange. The hairs on the back of their necks are standing up. If they have any kind of danger sense it is going haywire. They have a moment before a second announcement shines some light on the strange feeling.
"Attention passengers, we have been boarded by inspectors. Please may all passengers have tickets and passes ready for inspection. Please try and stay calm." Calm may be harder for some than others. The feeling can be rationalised, it is similar to the air of expectation at the start of a horror film, or a scary ride. However rationalisation might not last that long as when characters try to leave their cabins they will find the doors are locked. They are trapped.
If anyone has lingered in the gaps between carriages for any length of time they will have no doubt heard the strange sound that can be heard sometimes, almost like faint choral singing. Now it can be heard in the carriages itself. Still faint, but if they are quiet they can hear it in the distance. Almost a cross between singing and crying. Sometimes loud, sometimes barely a murmur but ever present.
The feeling of danger intensifies, heavy footsteps sound outside in the corridors and a heavy breathing, as if coming from a mask. The footsteps move towards the first cabin of the first sleeper carriage and the door slides open...

Eventually he'll get hungry and need to eat, but for now he wants to stay in his little lower bunk cave, clinging onto Romeo for dear life. And Ignis. He's decided that Ignis, like Tony Stark, is a safe person. Someone he will trust to see him at his absolute worst.
His weakest.
His most pathetic.
He makes room on the cramped little bed for Ignis to join them, and curls into Romeo. He likes that Romeo doesn't truly have a pulse. It's less distracting this way.
Joscelin closes his eyes and says, softly, "I want to go home."

He held Joss tight, it was difficult to think of ways to keep his spirit down. He didn't understand a lot of things about Joss anymore. Joss wasn't a shinki anymore, he had all his memories back. But he seemed a lot sadder then he had been in the heavens.
"I know. I want to go home too. But we just got to keep our spirits up, remember there's only one day like today in our whole lives so whatever happens we got to keep living!"

Then there was Romeo Six bless him, with trying to cheer his friend up and them holding onto each other. It was important to have someone here to be able to rely on, Ignis had learned that lesson through Tony.
Not wanting to get in between the boys, he placed a hand on each of them in a silent support. "Until you go home Joss, remember you have a..well an odd sort of family here." Looking at Romeo he nodded. "That goes for you as well."

It's very strange, but not in a bad way.
He cuddles Romeo and looks up at Ignis. "...Thank you," he says, almost wonderingly.

He smiled at Joss and just held him even tighter. He would stay with his friend as long as he needed, until he stopped being scared.

Somehow Ignis was getting that Dad sort of feeling. This was all Tony's fault for mentioning it to him, and Renee's too.
He was a bit startled when Romeo held onto him too, but he just smiled at the boy.
Wrap?
yup!
"Thank you sir, for helping Joss. It's really nice of you." Mister Ignis truly was a very kind adult.

Looking at Romeo next as he spoke, the advisor nodded. "Think nothing of it. And should either of you need me, don't hesitate to let me know." Those weren't words Ignis was used to saying, but these were young boys and he had certainly learned to soften up and relax some around them. Another tiny smile tugged at his lips. "You should sleep too, I'll keep a look out." There wasn't anything or anyone that he was going to let disturb these kids.
