The Boys Are Back In Town
Who: Curufin, Reigen, and OTA
When: Bassoon Day 26, Afternoon
Where: Luggage car
What: Curufin and Reigen return from the void ministry.
Warning: None atm!
Filing a report had been simple enough, similar to how Reigen would take care of any other paperwork. He was a little surprised at how mundane the process was: Curufin and he were in a white room with only a desk and writing utensils on hand, and Reigen just needed to fill out the complaint and request the ministry look into the case.
Once the form was filled out and he followed Curufin through the door, the next Reigen knew, he was in a suitcase.
"Ugh--is this how you treat your guests?! Stupid train..."
Kicking away the luggage he woke up in, he looked around as if to confirm he was back in the same train. Honestly, the vague smell of smoke was a bit comforting. He found the ICP connection, and quickly pressed the button to broadcast audio to the entire train.
"Hey guys. It's Arataka Reigen and Curufin Fe...whatever, we're back! Report filed! Watch, we're probably gonna get a confirmation email or something soon. It worked out."
With that settled, Reigen casually walked out the luggage car door as if he hasn't been gone for nearly a day. What? He was hungry!

For Both Boys
"Welcome back," he crossed the short space and yanked the ghostbuster (as he so lovingly joked) into a hug. Drawing back a moment later, he pointed his finger at the younger man. "If you ever pull a stunt like that again..." He spotted the elf and let Reigen go. "I'm very happy to see you. Your father just might let me continue to breathe now."

He laughed a little at Curufin's comment, but it died down when the mention of death by Fëanor came into the picture. Reigen was definitely not one of Fëanor's favorite people, and he knew it. The sword fighting debate had been one thing, but now he'd taken the man's son with him to some unknown organization. "Oh god, I'm the one who's gonna die."

Eva has the decency to wait until they've both gotten something to eat as she figures it's probably better to talk about this over food than not at all.

He makes a face.
"I think I liked it better when I thought this train was the only one, and it was a mystery that had no explanation."

Reigen takes a large bite out of a bagel he'd gotten before continuing. Honestly, he almost looks like a hamster.
"So now the question is how our train fits in: clearly it's registered by the government if the inspectors were able to find it in the first place, but those masked guys didn't know we were taken here without our consent...maybe that's the anomaly? That we were all brought here from different worlds and registered on the train without knowing about it?"

For both? Worried bro is worried.
"Are you whole?"
The report can wait. As can food. Help his anxiety, please.
/pets worried bro
He puts his arms around his brother and smiles at him. "Sorry to have worried you, Nelyo!"

"Don't harry off without one of us. I know nothing about this Reigen, yet I do know this: he is not one of your kin."

She was surprised to see the two people get out of suitcases, though she had woken up in a suitcase before so she understood. She stayed hidden in her suitcase fort and watched as they spoke to the screens. She moved towards them, appearing from behind a stack of rucksacks as Reigen got to the door.
"Where did you be going? What report do you be talking about?"
Her questioning is blunt but she's pretty sure neither of them will mind and if they do she's pretty sure she can run faster than them.

"Oh, hello!" He said cheerfully when he saw Little One come out from behind the rucksacks. "We went to file a report with the Ministry of Void Travel. The inspectors told us we could, if we thought we were being trafficked. And since none of us seems to have volunteered to be on this train and trained formally for the missions before setting off into the Void, we all must have been kidnapped. I didn't want Reigen to go alone, so I went with him."

That she could register a name with her void travel agency, not that she would want to. But Eva had asked and that had been the answer. They hadn't mentioned a ministry though, was that the same thing?
But more importantly, Curufin and Reigen had left the train?
"What did it be being like? At the ministry I do be meaning."

“You filed a complaint?”
no subject
"Yes, we did. Reign wanted to, and I didn't want him to go with the inspectors by himself."
no subject
"They mentioned taking kidnapping cases seriously, so I figured it was worth a shot? Worst that could happen is they're a lousy administration and don't get around to our case for another month."

for reigen!
So after hearing the message Madoka immediately goes looking for the other. She walks as long as it's necessary through the train until she spots Reigen.
"A.. Ah! A.. Are you okay..?"
She may seem more than just a little out of breath since she was running while trying to find him.. She can't even force out more than just those words before needing to stop and catch her breath.
no subject
"Madoka-chan! Yeah, of course I'm ok! I'm a professional psychic, remember?"
He approaches her and gently ruffles her hair like an older brother would to a sibling.
no subject
Apparently that's the only word she can get out as an initial reaction to that. Her eyes are wide as she stares at him, accepting the hair ruffle without the slightest protest. She seems too baffled to do that even if she did want to, really.
"Y.. You went away, and you're still alright? As if nothing happened? You really are so amazing..!" Not that she didn't think he was already great ever since they spoke before, but this just seems to cement it. Even though she had been super terrified, Reigen is just so great that nothing on this train can affect him, huh.

[Audio] - Reigen
[This was proof his faith was well founded.]
We'll catch up over coffee when you're ready.
no subject
[He figured he had the right to be a little cocky regardless of how mundane the whole affair had been.]
"God, coffee sounds great right now. I'll be over soon."
no subject
[This was said smugly so the slight cocky attitude given was absolutely fine by him. He'd rightfully placed his faith in Reigen unlike a Certain somebody that they both knew.]
I'll have it ready for you along with something to eat.
