Ain't no party like a kigurumi party
Who: The Yu-Gi-Oh! Crew
Where: Gaming Carriage
When: Quicksand, Day 20
What: A pyjama party or more specifically a kigurumi party
Warnings: Not anything really.
Yugi figured it would be nice to have a little bit of fun and relax for a change and after remembering of a moment when he was relaxed it gave him an idea. So platform day he had managed to buy something with the idea of using them to just have fun with those he was close to.
So he had set out to put the package in the gaming carriage, figuring this place was the best place to be as there was enough to do. Soon he placed the kigurumi he had brought down along with a note to each of thier cabins minus Kaiba who most likely got the message in person.
The note along with the kigurumi states: 'I hope you will join me in the gaming carriage for a fun evening. Wear what is provided.'
Yugi himself was already there dressed and making sure there was enough snacks that he made and such while waiting. He just hoped this went the way he hoped it would.

He has a strange black metal orb tucked under his arm as he arrives, but as he releases it it whirs and floats beside him. Odd.
"So how did we want to start game night?"
no subject
Soon he spotted the orb and that was enough to tilt his head slightly.
"What is the orb about?"
no subject
But Yugi playing a game with him would be different than this, right? He suspects his husband doesn't know, so his tone's mostly confused.
no subject
"But no definitely wasn't me, but for all I know it could have followed me and I might not have noticed."
no subject
He's still eying the orb with some suspicion. "It likes to give me as little information as possible. I wanted to keep an eye on it in the event it gave me clues...but maybe getting my mind off it will help?"
He picks up a board game and smirks. "It's been a while since we've played."
no subject
Looking over at the orb even Yugi was getting curious about it. But had no idea were to even start either.
"Maybe it's like a very complicated puzzle." It was just a guess for the most part, but he was okay with helping to keep ones mind off of stuff, it was something he was very good at himself.
"It really has. We both just got busy since the last time."
no subject
He gives Yugi a gentle smile, then gently pushes the orb aside.
"But this isn't exactly what you had in mind for fun. We should try something more active..ready to finally crown me, Yugi?"
He'll find a game to get his crown back...somehow. He seems to be eying the video game cabinet.
no subject
He soon found himself smiling slightly. "If you win then yes, but I am not sure if your ready for that yet..."
DId he actually think that? No, he was just teasing. He knew that he was going to lose at some point because even Yugi knew he couldn't win everything, that had even been proven at least once on the train.
"But what game were you thinking?"
no subject
Faster. His familiar swagger looks a little silly in the pajamas, but he's still projecting pride.
no subject
So he went to sit by the game in question, making sure he was comfortable and that the hood was up and over his hair which thankfully with the hood style it worked perfectly.
"Ready when you are."
no subject
He pushed himself to catch up, but he'd have to fight hard to win.
"It's not over yet, Yugi!"
no subject
"I know, but I am nearly at the end. So you need to hurry up."
no subject
All seething hatred for the fact that he's in a dog kigurumi has vanished in honor of just staring.
What.
The hell.
"......................Whatcha got there.........?"
no subject
"My best guess is that it's some kind of personal assistant device? It just showed up in my room one day with my name on it and Yugi swears he didn't put it there or see who did. I gave it a fingerprint scan and a password, and that's about it."
Any ideas, Jou?
no subject
...Well he hears something. Maybe. For whatever reason he's getting the exact feeling he has when one of his teachers is staring at him expectantly for something- all accompanied by his usual seer-struck clouded eyes.
The blond shakes it up. "Nyhhhh...I got nothin', nothin' r'lated anyway."
no subject
"Well, I'm still where I started. I really don't want to crowdsource a solution with the crew, but I might have to. But as for tonight..."
He looks over the games they set out.
"Been a while since we dueled. Want to try a different game?"
no subject
And then, with a laugh, he grins. "Hah! Yeah, y' creamed me too! But I haven' had a decent shot t' see if I can't beat y' at somethin' else..!" he adds, playfully competitive as he claps one of his arms in anticipation.
"Name yer game Kaiba~!"
no subject
He turns to the arcade machine. "How about a racing game?"
There's a nice speedway racer there. He approaches the machine with a little smirk.
no subject
Apparently not hindered himself, he grins and starts for the console. "Heheheee..Yer on then..! Sounds perfect!"
And really, it is- not really too much strategic need beyond a particular point there, and if Kaiba challenged Katsuya to a game of luck, it could go in any direction at all.
no subject
"Ready to eat dust?"
It's more a fond teasing expression than his old acidic digs. They cannot take any of this seriously, not dressed like this...
He smiles and starts his engine anyway, the car on the screen ready to go. He just has to hope Jou doesn't get all the lucky items. But here...we...go...
no subject
Three...two...o-
"NYH!! BLOW OUT START..!?"
The car on the screen smokes for a moment, overloaded from Katsuya's over-eager engine revving pre-countdown.
Well that's an immediate advantage for Kaiba at least!!
no subject
Looks like Katsuya can still get the legendary blue shell or equivalent.
no subject
"Nhhhhhh laugh why don'tcha..." he mutters, already mastering the corner drifts. "I jus' need t' get a good item...!"
