Kaito is, as often happens in between stops, bored. He's also exhausted, but with his existing issues, all this does is make him insomniac.

So.

Here he is, in the game carriage, being his usual self. He's managed to get back into juggling now, even if the things he juggles are... wait is that a lindusi claw!?! Let's just say he's been picking up souvenirs, shall we?

Sometimes he's playing cards, shuffling the decks in impossible patterns.

Or he'll turn and smile, and offer - "Wanna play a game?"

"You are changing the subject~" Kaito sings songs. "And not even subtly, okay. But fine, if you don't wanna talk about it, we won't talk about it. And Energy Drinks are vile. At least coffee is a real drink. What's in those things, cocaine?"

Peter just makes a face at him, because he happens to love energy drinks, thanks.

"You sound like Mr Stark. He hates when I drink those things. And yeah, I'll admit that taste kinda weird at first but then they grow on ya. And since I'm gonna be awake anyway, might as well keep an active mind. I used to drink like... two doing homework."

"You see!" He gestures. "Addictive. You know coke had cocaine in it at the beginning, I bet there's something in those things too. Bleach. I've had to use them a couple of times, and I'd rather have a caffiene pill."

"There is." Peter deadpans. "Sugar-coated caffeine." And some other stuff but who cares about that?

"And yeah, I know the whole story about coke. They also used to use cocaine as an anesthetic. First for eye surgery since uh... this guy uh... Koller? Discovered that it like worked to stop an eye's involuntary movements so it was used for eye surgery..." He trails off. "Uh... sorry, I just read a lot."

"And additives, I've read the label! Who knows what those are." Is he being overly dramatic on purpose? Yes, yes he is.

He laughs. "Dude, chill, it's fine. You should talk to the Detectives some time. Even Hattori-kun knows all sorts of extremely weird and somewhat disturbing facts."

"Um... I do. I'm a chemistry nerd, remember? Besides, Mr Reigen and I are trying to figure out how to make energy drinks out of that Purple drink they have in the shop-thing." He explains.

"I mean, we're missing some key ingredients, I think-but we're using coffee since we don't really have access to like.. pure caffeine."
