Winter Wonderland [Event]

”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”

As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.

Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.

Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.

The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.

And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

Romeo is having a lot of fun, he is all bundled up and nice and cozy despite the snow. It had snowed last winter in the heavens and in Japan so he knows all the best ways to have fun already!

He is currently throwing snowballs, at anyone he knows and some people who he doesn't know! He throws towards the lake before realising that it might be dangerous to throw snowballs at someone who is skating and also that he doesn't know the man on the lake! He's in blue team but he looks very very strict!

"Line!"

A blue shield of energy springs up between the man and the snowball, letting the snowball splatter harmlessly off it. "Sorry sir!"

Romeo knows lots of grown ups don't like being hit with snowballs!

Luckily Lan Wangji isn't easily thrown off balance while skating, but being pelted by a snowball did indeed made him halted his movements.

"..." Let's just say he isn't amused being pelted by a snowball during his run and cycle around the lake. But the blue shield sprung up in time to ward off the course of the impact. His interaction with the children made him patient.

"It's all right." After all, children are having fun and he realized Romeo is doing just that.

Romeo blinked at him, the man said it was alright and though he still looked very strict he didn't seem to be actually angry. So that was good!

Romeo let the borderline drop. Though he knew he shouldn't have thrown the snowball in the first place he was kind of proud at how fast he had gotten than borderline up! It might even be a new record for him.

"As long as you didn't get hurt sir!"

"I'm not hurt at all." Lan Zhan tried to assure him. "Please don't worry yourself. It's easy to get carried away. If that snowball landed on me, I wouldn't trip and fall that easily."

A beat, and some thought. "Mn. Just be careful when you take aim and stay focus on your target."

That was good! Romeo would hate to see anyone hurt. Snowball throwing was meant to be fun after all!

"I will sir! I'll remember that in the future!"

After a while of skating around, Lan Zhan is done. He removes his skates and then goes to seek the boy.

"Are you still playing? May I join you?"

Normally he doesn't play around, playing with children, but he has a change of mood when he sees everyone is having fun.

Romeo looked a little surprised that the stern man wanted to play but he nodded straight away. The more the merrier!

"Yes sir! Do you know how to make snowballs?"

With a nod, he truly wanted to join in and play. Seeing all the festivities and joy all around, it touched Lan Wangji after years of not having much human connection back home.

"I know how to make snowballs. What are the rules of the game?"

[myblueskies]

"That's good sir! The rule is you throw them at people but not so hard to hurt them! You got to run and hide and try and hit with more snowballs then you get hit by! If people got drinks or look like they aren't playing then you shouldn't throw snowballs at them!"

That was all the rules. It wasn't a complicated game, not like hide and seek tag with kites or anything like that.
