Winter Wonderland [Event]
”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”
As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.
Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.
Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.
The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.
And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

No one needs to tell Peter twice. He's already gotten his hot chocolate and bundled himself up in a winter coat and boots. He webs his hot chocolate to the wall and sets about building up a snow fort in the far corner so that he can throw a snowball at the first person that gets close. He's packed up some ammunition, built some snow guards, and made a snow angle. Who wants to take Peter on in a snow ball fight? He's ready for you.

Kaito will swear later that this is purely for science. Gotta test how accurate that spider-sense is, right?

Seeing the message on the table, he quickly moved to the dressing carriage and the first thing he did was to grab a very warm knee length black coat. Next he added a set of silver gloves and a green scarf. He smiled when he found a nice black top hat to wear and positively grinned when he put on black leather knee high boots.
Going out to the garden carriage with hot chocolate in a red mug, he couldn't believe how beautiful the snow looked. People were ice skating, but he was more than content to sit down and watch them. Among the hot chocolate stores he'd found a long rolled cookie to put in his hot chocolate with whipped cream and green sugar sprinkles.

"Hey Mr Ignis!" He chirps, looking up from his snowman. His cheeks are a bit pink and nose an angry red because of the cold but Peter, at least, is in high spirits. "Have you seen Mr Stark? I need to throw snowballs at him."

Whoever is walking past has only just the warning of a cackle, and then snow drops down the back of their shirt, and Kaito is dashing off for safety.

Eva crouches forms a snowball and lobs it hard and true at Kaito. As if he were a fleeing pokemon, of course.

She kneels and runs fingers through the drifts and tips her head consideringly. Well. That's an idea. Something ephemeral...
Within moments she's found herself a nice drift that she can work with, compressing the snow down and using water to freeze it further, building what is probably the most life-like snowelf ever. Why. It looks like Feanor! Flames of ice and snow licking up around his feet, his eyes glaring out defiantly at the world, looking almost as if he would shake off his snowy cover and walk. But. His eyes look past you. One hand almost, almost reaching out, or is it pulled back close to him, afraid of rejection?
She stands and looks at it for a long time, and then starts another, opposite it. A lady, this time. Herself. Facing him.
no subject
"These are beautiful. You have quite the talent."
Ash was curious what it was Feanor was doing, but she hesitated to ask considering the arguments. She had positive images of both of her new roommates, but talk about some tension.

Throughout the day, she can be found making snow
birdsangels to various degrees of success; There's also building snowmen of various shapes and sizes while fending off Princess; she even has a go at ice skating several times, though she's not the best at it. Give her a bike any day and she'll do bike parkour with it ok. That's not to say she doesn't take time out to enjoy a hot chocolate or three, or to sit and watch the antics of everyone else. (Or to corral Princess back into his pokeball if needed. Fairy-types, man. Fairy-types.)Snowball fights are another beast entirely as one will find out. Eva's aim is true and straight from a lifetime of aiming and throwing pokeballs, as are her reflexes. While there's glee in her eyes and laughter abounding, she's very much a person who's situational awareness is very much above average. But given what she's revealed about her world in general and what sort of pokemon -monsters- humanity has to live with... It's probably not that shocking.
Princess, of course, is not one to be left out. Not from this. At least the fairy-type is more keen on harmless mischief and fun than anything. From pouncing on people, to ruining snowmen, to weaving between legs - if he can do it, he will. This does include trying to ruin any snow forts or push/trip people into the drifts. Or even brief bursts of telekinesis where snowballs hang in the air for several seconds before dropping to the grown. He'll even try Sing a few times; long enough for a person to drift off for a few seconds. Naturally, Princess attempts to hide as much as any pink fluffy thing can. But. Look. He's pink. It's probably easy to spot him.
Oh, and he's absolutely going to be sticking his nose in any unattended food or drink. Even hot chocolate. Look, he can eat anything humans can. Not that... people probably know that. Opps. That said, he's also going to be trying to freeze or chill any unattended drinks via Icy Wind.
no subject
Prisoner took care to sneak up to Princess, then gently patted the top of Princess's head. Found you, it seemed to say. Prisoner hesitated a second, then took a few quick steps away, checking back to see if Princess was going to give chase.
The game was tag. Woe to anyone in their way - or any thing.

She found a bundle of warm clothes to tug on - she seemed to gravitate closer to the more "ornate" furs the train made available, and then grabbed the pair of skates that looked like someone took a pair of stiletto heels and put a razor blade on the bottom. She hadn't skated in a while, so hopefully she could shake some of the rust off.
Time hadn't thrown her off her game. She was excellent at ice skating even still, and she was more than happy to help anyone find their feet on the ice.
Later she could be found sitting somewhere with a cup of hot chocolate - sans whipped cream and sprinkles, but smelling heavily of cinnamon - watching everyone as they played. An uncharacteristic small smile could be found permanently fixed on her face as she watched.
no subject
When Ash came off the train, Renee stood. "Hey, Ash!" she called, not even waiting for the woman to turn, but throwing her snowball straight for Ash's upper legs. Or her bum. Either way.
If she managed to hit, the snowball would explode into harmless powder, but it would dust Ash with snow from practically the waist down. Have one teenager laughing her head off, even if that snowball didn't hit. Ash was pretty agile, after all...

The first: store as much snow as possible from the surrounding area in a spatial storage tweaked for freezing temperatures. Sure, it'll take up a lot of mana, but having the ability to just dump snow on someone whenever is priceless, and sure, she looks kind of like a weird spider-shaped novelty hoover, but ditto. This world's probably not using it.
The second: get revenge on anyone who dares throw things at her. She has twice as many limbs and a claw-eye coordination born of pure desperation and she refuses to lose. If some snowballs happen to have sticky thread in them... well! Oops!
The third: drink her own weight in hot chocolate. She's at least socially obligated enough that every time she goes back to the kitchen for more, she comes back with a whole tray... at least half of which she grudgingly hands out to others. Someone keeps making the spider more hot chocolate. Is it you?

He first dashed to the dressing carriage - he kept incredibly low to avoid the spider webs - and grabbed the longest, reddest scarf he could find. He wrapped it up under his head so that it trailed behind him like his clothes did at home, then he made a mad dash to the garden carriage. He stopped short of stepping into the snow and instead crouched, touching it. He spent perhaps 45 seconds touching the snow, sticking his hand in it, picking it up, then jumped and landed face first in it, laying there. His fireball was absolutely melting the snow around his head, but he seemed glad to just be out of the stuffiness of the train.
He can be found throwing snowballs with absolute glee, laying in the snow (seemingly face up or face down, he doesn't mind), and trying to ice skate (and doing very very poorly). Truly, he seems to just be enjoying the fresh air.
He will eventually be found trying to climb the dome so that he can perch himself at the top to enjoy the rushing of the wind. It'll become apparent that his wall hanging isn't as complete as the spider-teens but between his double jumping and his wall hanging he seems to think he can get it. He gets very, very close, but doesn't seem to be quite close enough to grab the edge of the dome. He keeps at it though, seemingly with a limitless patience for repetitive tasks.
no subject
When he spotted the fireball-man attempting to climb to the open top of the dome, 47 paused to watch for a bit. The skill to climb as far as Prisoner did was impressive.
When it became evident that Prisoner could not quite make it all the way to the outside 47's interest began to wane. He had seen what the man could do given the environment. He was impressed. There was nothing else to gain. 47 stepped forward with a loud crunch in the snow. He stopped and looked around.
With an ease of movement, the hitman bent down near the ground and gathered up a sizeable amount of snow that he rolled into a dense ball. Maybe there was some purpose to all of this after all: target practice.
Without a care as to what his actions might bring, 47 glanced around and when he was reasonably certain no one was watching him, he let the snowball loose through the air. His aim was straight at Prisoner's head.
After all, a moving target was better practice than a still one.

Danny skips over the dressing cart. If he didn't have to hide his ghost side here anymore he wasn't going to bother with winter clothing when he was just as comfortable in short sleeves. Having a core of ice at the center of half of yourself could do that.
He tries some cocoa, but an attempt to stir it accidentally freezes it solid instead. He shrugs and munches on shards of chocolate ice as he works his way over to the pond in the center to watch people attempting to skate.
Later he nervously shifts into his ghost form when he thinks he's found a spot that no one was watching, and starts building ice sculptures.
Okay, so they looked more like ice boulders than ice sculptures. That still counted, right?

It wasn't a snowboard, but he'd take it. It was unlikely that there was enough space here for his favorite stunts anyway.
Grabbing the skates he quickly makes his way to the pond and inspects the ice, before finding a place to sit and lace up the skates.
A few minutes later he is out on the ice, skimming around the edges of the pond in a practiced manner.

To his delight, everything except the paths is snow-covered. The paths look as though someone has gone over them with a broom or a snow shovel. The pond is frozen. He sits down at the brink of the pond, slugs down the last of his cocoa and sets the cup down. Then he pulls on his ice skates, stands up, and tiptoes out onto the ice. He does't fall through when he begins to skate.
Anybody want to skate with him? Or ice-dance? Curufin is humming a song he can skate to.

She was walking around, a mixture of confusion and awe in her eyes when she saw Curufin dancing on the water.

"Dread," Sarai whispered, trying to be quiet. It was probably only barely working, and only because she was a small woman trying her hardest to not be loud. "Dread," she hissed a bit louder, climbing on to the Roegadyn's chest and getting into his face. "Dread, it snowed!"
She gave a little hop. He needed to get up, her husband did, and he needed to get up now!
Later on, Sarai can be found in a number of different places, enjoying the wintry delights. She'll get hot cocoa later, but there's so much to do and she wants to do all of it. Ice skate. Snowball fight. Build snowmen. ALL of it!

But if he was so unimpressed and didn't care about the snow, why did he bother to join in the crowd of people gathered in the garden carriage instead of taking advantage of the situation to go off alone while it would be the easiest? Well, he did have a reason for that. 47 wanted people to see him in the snow covered garden carriage. It was a good time to blend in and appear to be somewhat regular. People might wonder if he didn't at least go look and see what the hubbub was all about. He would sneak off and find a quiet place to do some chemistry while he still had a chance of easy stealth later in the day.
For now the hitman blended into the crowded garden with the rest of the train's residents. For the most part he crunched around in the snow without aim, simply wandering around the open area with a quiet demeanor. It didn't even phase him that so many snowballs were being thrown about and any stray ones headed his way had an uncanny tendency to just barely miss him as he walked by. Occasionally he would stop to "admire" a work of snow-art that someone had built, drawn, or otherwise made out of the snow. Sometimes while they were still working on it.
At some point he managed to procure a cup of hot chocolate and took a seat on one of the benches dotted around the carriage. He looked absolutely normal in that instance, even if his eyes were scanning the space with a little more intensity than most might give it. He would just point out that he was a "people-watcher" which honestly wasn't untrue. It was useful.
Hit the relaxed bald man with a snowball... if you dare.

She'd taken full advantage of the clothing provided; a scarf was tied around her lekku, which were tucked snuggly into her jacket's hood, another covered the majority of her face so only her eyes peaked out, and thick gloves covered her hands. Her cane and a cup of hot chocolate moved through the air behind her, following her as she moved through the carriage.

Making his way to the garden carriage, Lan Wangji usually stoic demeanor fell away to that of awe. He is practically delighted. A winter wonderland that reminds him of his hometown of Cloud Recesses during the wintertime.
While everyone else is having fun building snowman or snowball fights, Lan Wangji will wear his ice skates and go skating on that frozen pond.

"It's snowing? Oh my god, it's actually snowing on the train! That's crazy!"
It hardly ever snows in the city where he's from, and he doesn't usually get to go into the mountain areas where snow piles up, so seeing the kind of snow that only shows up in storybooks or specials about the west, Reigen devolves into the kind of excitement of a little kid on his first snow day.
So of course, Reigen near immediately sets to work doing the most appropriate thing with this amount of snow: building a snowman! Hey, when in his life will the chance be right in front of him again? He doesn't know!

To wit: the Overlord, in the hands of a minion, leads five others in a brutal strike squad that immediately hunts down anyone he spots and unleashes a torrent of snowballs at the poor victim. Not fair odds? Not his problem! Indeed, the Overlord appeared to take a great deal of pleasure out of overwhelming others!

.. and then the next there's suddenly a barrage of snowballs hitting him. He's already downed by them before he can even let out an "oof". Once he's on the ground, his reflexes do at least kick in enough for him to cover his head though. (Despite that only making it harder to see who or what hit him..)

Weather isn't something you see a lot of in space. Sure, space colonies have their own artificially controlled weather - a balance is needed to maintain the necessary plant life without an excessive amount of irrigation. Snow is not needed for survival at all, and anything unessential is exceedingly rare, never mind that Axis Zeon's leader preferred to keep the weather moderately warm and sunny as often as possible.
So this... is her first time just standing in snow. It's easy to figure out how to bundle up. Less so to figure out what to do with all of this. Yet, she's here, watching the little clouds of condensed water vapor she's breathing out - natural-ish, instead of the sign of a broken heater on board a spacecraft. She steps, the snow crunching audibly; kicks a pile of it, just watching it scatter. Ple Two has no idea there's a small smile on her lips as she experiments with the stuff.

Madoka is watching her from a distance - far enough for it to not be super obvious that she's staring at Ple Two, but still close enough to be able to spot the hint of a smile on the other's lips. Just seeing Ple Two smile feels like it's making all this snow even more amazing. How often has Madoka even seen that? Not a whole lot, that's for sure.
Which means clearly she should help the other have even more fun with the snow. So after staring at how Ple Two is experimenting with it for a few moments, she starts to make her way through the snow over to her.
"Hey..! Do you want to build a snowman together?"

Possibly, that is. Whatever the opinions of some childhood tutors (or Uncle- ugg, not going there, it’s the only subject that’s worse) not thinking too hard isn’t something Fingon finds easy. You wouldn’t either, if your strongest memories of snow weren’t of terror and starvation, of ice crackling beneath your feet and stealing those you love away.
He’ll stay long enough- to watch, because he doesn’t think this train would kill its passengers on a whim, but it’s best to be sure. But for all the song he absently hums brings warmth to any listening ears, his eyes are cold and wary as he looks out on those at play.

Designed for those who wanted a break from the games and activity, and a safe refuge. Anyone trying to attack it will be met with resistance and defense. :D

No, instead she's just curious about what's going on here. She spotted Raven from a distance already and started to head over just to speak to the other girl, but the closer she gets, the more she notices Raven is building something. Something.. kind of round..? With it not finished yet, Madoka honestly wonders if Raven is just trying to build the biggest snowman out of everyone here or something. An odd hollow one.
"Um.. You look like you're building something really big.. Do you maybe need some help?" Anything for a friend!

Anyone who could hear mental communications would hear him calling. It sounded like he was calling over a distance, rather than being panicked or angry. As usual he was in layers of invisible skin tight shields...
