Winter Wonderland [Event]
”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”
As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.
Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.
Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.
The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.
And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

A small lie, but. Look. She's managed this far without alerting anyone to the allergy and she's not about to start now. Anyway, there's more important things to focus on. Such as -"You don't have snow?!"
no subject
"We do..but it's in a place I haven't traveled to. So I've only seen pictures and read about it in books." It was in the Empire's realms and not a part of the Lucian kingdom. "So stories of it are all I know. I am pleased to actually see it in person."
If Ignis remembered this place whenever he went home, he would be sure to tell the boys.

"I wish I could say the same, but well. I've travelled most of the known world by now, but where I grew up it didn't snow. I'm glad though; as much as I love it, I don't like the work that comes with it outside of having fun."
Look, even with pokemon, snow shoving is still hard. Also dangerous because of pokemon.

Ignis sighed and took a sip of his hot chocolate. Snowballs were being thrown at people and they were being thrown back, so he watched these little contests with some curiousity. "And things like this were normal in your world?"
He gestured with his cup towards the snowball fights.

Odd. Weird. Frightening in it's own way even though she knows the train isn't her world, that people have never had to worry about wild pokemon sneaking up on them. It doesn't stop the way she scans the horizon though. Just because it's not her world doesn't mean she can slack off.
"I can't help but feel exposed like this. Silly, isn't it?"
no subject
The dirty blonde head shook at her words about being exposed. "No, it is rather quite open here, even if it is in a train car." And this coming from a guy who'd been on the run to hide and protect a king out to save the world. Irony that the hunted member of royalty would save everyone, those who knew of him and even those who didn't and wanted to kill him anyway.

In the end, she doesn't, and swaps back to what Ignigs first said. "It can be-" And how her heart aches for Pallet and the daily life in the small town that had more or less been built up around farming and fishing, to say nothing of the prestige the Oaks brought even outside of Professor Oak. "-and winter festivals are often the most so. Maybe come Train Spring we can organise a festival. We come from so many worlds, surely between us all, we have enough deities and gods to cluster around and give thanks to?"
no subject
"A festival for Spring?" Well he'd heard of christmas and thanksgiving and halloween right? "I rather like the idea. Is there some sort of holiday for it or behind it?" He really did like the idea provided they were all still here. But it would be fun and Ignis was always behind learning about other worlds and things that they did and celebrated.
The Six would get no thanks from him but if they could do something like this as a community as people, there shouldn't be any problems with that at all.

Like, drink flying, Satoru. She's never going to let him live that down. Never.
"Traditionally, my town plants the first of the harvest crops and everyone turns out for that. The youngest start, because it's though those seeds will grow the tallest. We also have singing and dancing and drinking and one-on-one battles and we get the big screens out to watch the Spring Faiyā Flight."
There is so much more she could tell him, but a lot of it is tied up with pokemon, or rural farm life. To say nothing of the fact she has yet to spend a full year in Alola.

Listening further, the advisor took another sip of his hot chocolate thoughtfully. "I've heard something of people starting gardens here. So I have to wonder if your festival here wouldn't be a propitious omen in which to start that very project." There was a certain ear he'd bend for this is Eva was agreeable.
