Winter Wonderland [Event]

”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”

As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.

Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.

Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.

The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.

And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

"A hit, a hit!" Kaito laughs, wiping snow off his face and tossing one in return, as he scrambles backwards, trying to get away.

Indeed, Kaito has landed a hit and Lan Wangji got one at him too. He walks slowly at an unhurried pace. He makes another snowball and when he caught up to him, he makes another attempt to throw another snowball one after another to make a hit at Kaito.

Though Kaito being faster, the snowball may not reach and could be a miss.

Kaito ducks just in time, the snowball skimming past him.

"C'mon, you can do better than that!"

Why do kids have so much energy?! Gathering another snowball on hand, he gives chase trying to catch up to him, and throws another clumsily, not focusing on his aim. For a man with a stern expression, he is rather lively playing this game.

"Not giving up!" Will it be a hit or miss when the snowball is heading toward his way?

Kaito laughs, not ducking fast enough to avoid this one.

"Ooh, a hit, a commendable hit!"

Throwing himself over a snowbank he pops up like a demented bunny to return fire.

The fight goes on for a while until at last, Lan Wangji is ready to surrender. It's rare since Lan Wangji never surrenders, but for once, he chosen too. Because Kaito is a friend.

He only smiles. "All right. You win." He brushed the snow off his head and fixed his headband in place.

"Kaito, I'm going to get some hot chocolate. Do you want one?"

They're both somewhat damp, and Lan Wangji has given as good as he got, so Kaito has no compuctions about grinning back and agreeing.

"Sure! And I reckon we can probably call it a draw, you've got a good throwing arm on you, Lan-san."

With a nod, "A draw it is then."

Lan Wangji finds this fun. "Hot chocolate it is then." Lan Wangji learns of this beverage is good and delicious with marshmallows. Besides tea and coffee. "It will help warm us up. They serve in the kitchen."

Which he's going to get. A mug for two, and he hands over a mug. One for him and one for himself. "Kaito. For you. Be careful, it's hot."

Kaito is glad, as he's having the time of his life!

"Ayup! Too bad I can't find any marshmallows to go with." He sighs. "Mmm, thank you, Lan-san!"
