Winter Wonderland [Event]

”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”

As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.

Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.

Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.

The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.

And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

Those instructions are simple enough, so as soon as Elfnein reaches the 3, Madoka starts pushing. Not with all she's got, since it's not exactly a desperate situation like that.. and she also doesn't want to accidentally push too hard and push the snowball away from the other. But she's still making sure to put enough effort into it that she isn't slacking on her part.

She gasps a little, but then starts laughing as the ball starts rolling.

"It's working!"

Elfnein couldn't help but smile at how well this was all going, she didn't even trip on ice or snow! It was a miracle, or well having Madoka help out was enough to secure her own safety tripping wise.

"The base needs to be a decent size to avoid it falling over"

"Right? We should make sure it's big enough that we can still make two smaller ones to put on top of it."

So they should probably keep rolling it for a while more to make sure it gets bigger, huh. Madoka is making sure to contribute, giving the ball some good pushes.

She glances at the other as they work. "Have you ever done made a snowman before?"

[alchemists]

"It's not the first time I've made a snowman but it's still pretty new to me."

It's the second winter-ish season she's gotten to experience so it's still new in a sense.

Madoka nods. "I usually do it at least once every winter.. But it's always fun." Especially when doing it with other people. And this place is giving her the opportunity to do it with so many new people, like Elfnein!

"Especially since you can decorate them in a different way each time."

[alchemists]

"That is true, each one can be decorated and given their own personality."

She's been thinking about how to decorate the one that's currently in progress. Maybe a top hat like all of the books she's read have it depicted as.

That's definitely the same thing as she's wondering right now.. But Madoka feels it'd be unfair for her to decide what the snowman would look like when she's the one who has done this more often! If Elfnein hasn't done it much, she should get to pick.

"What kind of personality do you want to give this one then?"

[alchemists]

"Well, since it's the first one and will be the oldest I thought maybe they should look wise!"

[happyends]

"Oh! Maybe like some wise old man you sometimes hear about in stories?" She likes that idea. Madoka immediately starts thinking about how you could make a snowman look like that. "I wonder if we could make a snow beard.."

[alchemists]

"We can put some stones in the snow beard to make it looks more realistic?"

Elfnein is looking around to see what items are nearby that can be used. There's plenty of sticks and small rocks around, but that would be sorta plain looking without extra details.

She hums, also trying to look around. Stones are a good idea, although they could probably only use the smaller ones since otherwise they'd fall off, but those wouldn't make a very big beard, huh..

After glancing around, Madoka's eyes fall on the pile of winter clothing in the distance that doesn't seem to be in use by anyone at the moment.

"Wait, maybe we could use a scarf..!"

[alchemists]

"That would work"

A scarf and maybe putting gloves on the end of some sticks to use as arms. They could how it posing like it was playing in the snow.
