Winter Wonderland [Event]

”Good Morning passengers. Today is day Twenty Four of the month of Catfish. You may wish to look out of the window.”

As passengers wake in their beds they will indeed notice something different about the light. If they look out of the window, instead of the ever changing void they will see white slopes of mountains, flakes of snow alling down around them and frost covered trees zipping past the windows. If they glance at the ICP on the table they will see a message.

Investigating the dressing cart they will find the drawers and cupboards unlocked once again. However, instead of the fantasy-esque clothing of world #25768 they will find thick winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves. There are heavy fur lined boots and even some ice skates.

Entering the garden carriage they will see that the glass dome of the roof has opened, leaving the carriage exposed to a bright blue sky. Any nonsense of the past few weeks has vanished, leaving the carriage pristine. Not that that is easy to notice as it is covered in a thick layer of snow. The paths are clearer, a light dusting of snow but easy to talk through. Around the paths the drifts are high, perfect for snowman building or a snowball fight.

The streams and the pond in the centre are solid ice. Anyone brave enough to try to find the ice holds their weight for ice skating.

And the ICP message was correct. There is hot chocolate in the stores.

Tony shook off the snow and flashed Kaito an evil grin. "Only when I get a hold of you!"

He was starting to wonder if they shouldn't put together an obstacle course in the gym sometime for the spider kids and this guy to race. Hm, who could he delegate that idea to so he didn't have to do it?

Eventually, he was left panting and no closer to getting a hold of Kaito. "Alright, alright. Uncle. I'm getting hot chocolate."

"Gotta get me first!"

Kaito laughs and scrambles off again - he's not as agile, or as fast as the spider-kids, but he's clearly at the very least good enough to be amongst the best human athletes.

"Whoo I win!" He laughs. "Alright, I'll come with. I'm pretty worn out too - you're really fit!"

"Yeah yeah.. live it up. You're going down next time!" Fortunately for Tony the likelihood of there being a next time was really small.

The compliment surprised him, but he smiled warmly. "Thanks. You're not half bad either. Do you play any sport or anything to keep yourself nimble like that? It has to make your acts more fun to watch."

"Is that a challenge, Tony-san?" He teases and strolls along cheerfully beside him.

"I do, yeah. Gym at school, mostly! But I run and do a lot of parkour too."

"Of course, would you expect anything less from me?" He joked back. It'd have to be later because Kaito sort of ran circles around him during that snow ball fight.

His eyebrows rose and he gave the young man a curious look. "Parkour? Is that for any particular reason or you just want to go around acting like a gorilla who can't walk straight?"

"I like parkour!" He defends cheerfully. "It's fun, it gets the adrenaline going, and it's good exercise!"

Also very very handy for his night job. That too.

Okay he couldn't argue with any of those. It clearly was working for the young man too given how great his reflexes are.

"It's too bad we don't have more room on this train to practice it."

"There's always the stops we have." He shrugs. "Although admitedly most of that is running around working."
