Who: Bucky and anyone else
Where: Various cars throughout the train -- anywhere Bucky is likely to find a few quiet moments to accidentally nod off.
When: Domino 13 through 15
What: Bucky's pretty sure he's gotten sick, but good luck getting him to accept help. Eventually, he starts accidentally nodding off in various public places, but his startle response poses a problem for anyone who's thinking about waking him.
Warnings: Physical violence, insomnia, anxiety and PTSD symptoms, there will definitely be some cursing.

Get Well Soon | Domino 13

Even though everyone on the train has been better since before the mission, Bucky is absolutely certain he's come down with whatever it was Peter had. It's a fitting punishment for accidentally helping spread it, but doesn't realize it's just sleep deprivation. For now, he's camped out in the game car, nursing some peppermint tea and staring blankly at whatever or whoever is in front of him. At least until the train sends him to his bed for morning announcements.



Eat Your Yeets | Domino 14-15

Bucky is asleep. Somewhere on the train, in a public or semi-public space, he is dozing. He's seated himself in a corner, slouched down in a bean bag chair, or maybe even nodded off still on his feet. Wherever he is, his eyes are closed and his brow is furrowed, but that's the only clue you're going to get about the content of his nightmares. By morning on the 15th, there is a paper stuck out of his hand, with "DO NOT TOUCH ME" written in bold, black letters.

Do you dare to disturb him?

[OoC: Please include which day you're using for this prompt as Bucky's stress level will increase over time, and that determines how he responds to being woken up after the initial flinch reaction.]

His smile warms, and he nods. "Sure, if it's not too much trouble," the card already seemed like an awful lot of trouble, and entirely too sweet.

[really_sketchy]

Her smile grew. "It is not too much trouble. That is why I offered." With another smile, she dashed off towards the dinnering car. She wasn't a cook and she only knew a little bit about tea but she returned with a steeping cup of murky dark liquid. Naminé walked slowly and looked like she'd accidentally already spilled the burning liquid across the side of her hand.

"Here. I hope it's okay. This is the first time I made tea."

It was steeped for a little too long but Naminé didn't a decent job.

When she returns, his smile warms again. "Thank you," he replies warmly, but he doesn't miss that she's spilled some. "Is your hand okay? It looks like you spilled," he pulls the mug closer, taking a sip. It's strong, but he could tell that from looking, and though it's a little bitter he hums in appreciation as it warms him. "This is really good, especially for a first time." Making tea could be tricky, and she was clearly trying her best.

"You're welcome."

She looked down at her hand and gently cradled it against her abdomen. "It's alright. It's just a little sore. It doesn't hurt too badly but I will make sure to take care of it when I am done here." Naminé didn't want him to worry when he was already unwell.

"Thank you! I hoped it was okay. I haven't really cooked before but I watched Ignis make hot chocolate."

He nods a little, smiling gently at her. "If you wet a washcloth with cool water and put it over your hand for a while, it should feel better in no time," he suggests. It's what his mother had always done for him, and what he'd done for his younger siblings. Too cold and it would just irritate the burn further.

"I don't think you're alone in not knowing how to cook," he admits. "Maybe I can give you a lesson or two, when I'm feeling better."

"Wet a cloth." She nodded her head to show that she understood. "I will. Thank you. I might see if someone can teach me healing magic." If she can alter memories then she assumed she'd be able to heal as well.

Maybe.

"Really? You'd do that?" Her smile widened. "I'd like that very much."

He nods in agreement, smiling softly. "Good luck," he says warmly. "I don't know anything about magic, but I'm sure it'll come in handy if you can learn it. Are you going to the classes Tony teaches?"

"I didn't know he was teaching classes." But, if he was then maybe she should attend. "Does he know how to heal with magic?" Or maybe he was talking about cooking, there was a lot that Naminé wasn't sure about.

"I don't think so, he's teaching about science and math. I'm taking the classes, since it was a long time since I studied them, and a lot of things have probably changed." He also wanted to get on Tony's good side, make a good impression. It was a nice, safe way to start building a friendship, and Bucky wasn't arrogant enough to demand he be treated like an equal.

Especially not when he still felt like a monster, much of the time.

Naminé inclined her head in a brisk nod. "I will ask him. There is a lot that I don't know." It might be easier if she just found a book of some kind. It wasn't like a Nobody was able to attend school and unlike other Nobodies, Naminé didn't have any memories form her previous life.

She wasn't sure she knew how to add let alone do more than that.

"Then I hope I'll see you in class," he replies warmly. "And thanks again, for the tea," as he takes another sip.

"You will and you're welcome." She smiled again before turning and heading off.
