The Yeetening
Who: Bucky and anyone else
Where: Various cars throughout the train -- anywhere Bucky is likely to find a few quiet moments to accidentally nod off.
When: Domino 13 through 15
What: Bucky's pretty sure he's gotten sick, but good luck getting him to accept help. Eventually, he starts accidentally nodding off in various public places, but his startle response poses a problem for anyone who's thinking about waking him.
Warnings: Physical violence, insomnia, anxiety and PTSD symptoms, there will definitely be some cursing.
~!~!~!~!~!~
Get Well Soon | Domino 13
Even though everyone on the train has been better since before the mission, Bucky is absolutely certain he's come down with whatever it was Peter had. It's a fitting punishment for accidentally helping spread it, but doesn't realize it's just sleep deprivation. For now, he's camped out in the game car, nursing some peppermint tea and staring blankly at whatever or whoever is in front of him. At least until the train sends him to his bed for morning announcements.
Eat Your Yeets | Domino 14-15
Bucky is asleep. Somewhere on the train, in a public or semi-public space, he is dozing. He's seated himself in a corner, slouched down in a bean bag chair, or maybe even nodded off still on his feet. Wherever he is, his eyes are closed and his brow is furrowed, but that's the only clue you're going to get about the content of his nightmares. By morning on the 15th, there is a paper stuck out of his hand, with "DO NOT TOUCH ME" written in bold, black letters.
Do you dare to disturb him?
[OoC: Please include which day you're using for this prompt as Bucky's stress level will increase over time, and that determines how he responds to being woken up after the initial flinch reaction.]

"I made these for the others when they got sick earlier. I noticed you were sitting here and I wanted to make you one too. I know it isn't much but maybe it'll help you feel a little better."
Oh noooooooooooo my heart
"For... me?" he asks, as if this doesn't make even the tiniest fraction of sense. He looks up at her again, and breaks out the best smile he can manage. "That's really sweet," he replies softly. "Thank you."
XD
Naminé has only had her human body for a short period of time and has never gotten sick before. She didn't actually know what it was like and not knowing made her feel oddly helpless.
"If there is more I can do, please let me know. Oh. My name is Naminé."

15!
Garrett couldn't resist. The problem, actually, was whether the sleeping man actually had something worth touching him for. Garrett inspected his prey from a distance first, eying his pockets. They looked about as empty or full as everyone else's.
So clearly there was only one way to find out. The sneak thief crept up to the sleeping bionic man. He stayed on the side opposite the metal arm. Even if he didn't plan on waking the guy up it was always best to be safe than sorry.
Garrett rifled through the sleeping man's pockets one at a time, slowly, methodically, carefully. At one point he froze stiff as Bucky shifted in his sleep and the sneak thief thought he would get caught with his hand in someone else's pocket. Then the moment passed and Garrett finished going through the man's pockets.
Mostly empty, just as the thief suspected. But he had found a piece of paper and, of course, the ticket that everyone on board smartly kept on them at all times. Well, if they were smart anyway. Garrett read over the note. Useful to jot down the train cars, their order and purpose, and Garrett noticed there was a marker for a 'Steve Rogers' in one of the cabins. He may ask about that later. Or save if for a rainy day.
It was when the sneak thief was debating whether to replace the items or give the man a small fright when he awoke that a loud noise from the next carriage over startled the arachne. He jumped and turned, and still the awkward monster that he was, his tail brushed against the sleeping man as it snapped to attention. The thief let out a soft curse and began to twist his head back to look at the sleeping man to see gauge whether he was in trouble...

It was a single, swift movement, leaving him bent forward and panting for breath as his brain tried to catch up with what his body had just done. "Damnit!" he snapped. "There was a sign for a reason! Are you okay?" He's angry, not because he was disturbed, but because yet again he might've hurt someone, and every time he tried to exact control over his reactions, they just got increasingly worse.
Only his anger kept his grief at bay.

Thankfully, it was rather trivial as the sneak thief had certainly suffered worse in both The City and Ryslig. He was constantly throwing himself off buildings and smashing into things as he raced away from guards and in Ryslig...well, nothing quite said 'hello' as a pitchfork to the face. Or a drop into a completely dark and utterly creepy bug tunnel. He pushed back against the wall to right himself and turned around, only to lean back against the wall and place a hand on his shoulder. He may have wrenched it a bit during the mission a few days ago.
"I've had worse." He flicked the claws of his free hand. "These for instance."

Hence why he looks a lot more lively when he enters the game car and spots a friendly face there. A friendly face looking very much like a zombie. Is Bucky okay?
At least he's tactful enough to not ask that so directly. Instead he takes a seat across from the man, a smile on his face.
"You know, you don't seem to be quite into this game of.." He grabs the lid of the box of the game someone must have left out on the table mid-game before Bucky decided to make this his zone out spot. ".. Monopoly?" (Truly said like someone who has absolutely no idea what that game is. He's probably putting the stress on the wrong syllable too.) "Maybe you ought to play a better game if this one is making you look like this."
Just disregard the fact that Bucky clearly wasn't actually playing it, sshh.

The whole pile of boardgames, really. His gaze travels across the table until it comes upon a deck of cards, which he moves to pick up instead.
"Although I know these. Anyone knows how to play cards, right? Or even how to build a card house."

"Did you no never be finding your room, Bucky?"
She wrinkled her nose. That should be impossible, because no matter how hard you tried you always ended up back in your bed.
So maybe he just didn't like his room for some reason.

How did he have an arm like that and how did it work?
But that's not a question for now.
"You did be being given a whole bed to yourself. You should be using it."

be aggressive, look them in the eye, and YEET! (Domino 15)
Especially since she thinks that the paper is a joke! (Can one blame her? There are a number of pranksters on the train, for crying out loud. Hell, consider the source...she'd do something like that! Leave that sign, that is.)
"Man," Renee says. "Bucky, dude, there's gotta be a better place to sleep out in the open like this..." Reaching out to nudge his shoulder with a hand--she knows better than to just abruptly shake him awake, because he's a card-carrying member of the insomnia club, too...
Oh my *actual* god
As soon as the movement is done he freezes, shoulders trembling as he draws deep, ragged breaths. His eyes are wide and he's struggling to figure out where he is and what just happened.
that's the boy for ya
"You awake yet?" she asks, rubbing at her cheek ruefully. "Sorry, man, I didn't know you were that jumpy. Everything okay?"

The Yeetening! Domino 15
She isn't really paying attention, though she can feel that someone familiar is in the car. She really should have been paying attention. Because she does the exact same thing that he did to her that first day: trip over his feet. She yelps, and goes careening forward, so her legs are draped over his ankles, and she's sprawled on the ground.
"By the force!" She groans.
Re: The Yeetening! Domino 15
The fall is a fortuitous one, because when she trips over his feet, it wakes him and he takes an instinctive swing that passes harmlessly above her. He lets out a panicked grunt, his bloodshot eyes snapping open, and when he sees Misa on the floor, his stomach drops. He assumes the worst, of course, and immediately crouches next to her. "I'm so sorry," he says, intensity straining his voice. "God, I'm so sorry," he's afraid to touch her, but he offers his flesh hand, if she trusts him enough to take it. "Let's get you some ice," he insists.
Noooo Bucky, let her love you!
She has him wrapped around her pinky.
She won't even abuse it.

YEET. also early, early morning 15th
Usually, someone's in here-Kaito, Wade-people he usually plays games with but not this time. Instead, Bucky is passed out in a beanbag chair with his brow furrowed. Peter's pretty sure he recognizes that look and moves over. No, it's not generally good practice to wake someone in the middle of a nightmare but Peter has super strength so he's not too worried about it.
"Hey, Mr Bucky-you fell asleep."
no subject
The sound he makes is something like a kicked animal, pained and panicked, and just as soon as he's done with the swing, he starts trembling, blinking rapidly as he turns his gaze to Peter. "Oh... fuck."
